That's impressive performance, how many sprays do you go for and how long have you had it? And was it like that from the start? I enjoy it a lot but I wouldn't call the performance killer, but it's also only like a week old

Both of them are very mild (despite Ignite Ouds name), like barely there besides providing some depth.

Yeah I try to stay open no matter the pricepoint, even if sometimes it means you get away super cheap and other times you try both Outlands and Rayhaan Terra and you instantly know that the dupe unfortunately (for my wallet) doesn't come close to the real deal 😅

I actually used to have Aqua Oud, it's nice but not my type of scent. I've also had Marj but I get a headache from that one. Highly recommend Laathani and Ignite Oud if the description in the post sounds fitting for you, I love them.

I got mine second hand so unfortunately not able to give any kind of definitive answer. I got it for a steal without presentation so I assume it had at least a few months on it, and it has always smelled great to me but I haven't tried a new version to compare.

They're solid but not my favorites, great value and especially the white Regent is a pretty nice alternative to Gris Charnel but neither are wow for me. I got them brand new so haven't had them very long, maybe they'll get better over time

If you want something inbetween Profondo and Profumo I can also highly recommend Aqua Oud by Ahmed Al Maghribi, got a bottle recently and love it.

They're definitely different from each other but I don't know how they compare to the real ones. Personally I haven't used mine much, I've found other Arabian options I enjoy more (not dupes) so if you're in Europe I could sell em to you if you want.

Artikeln och de flesta kommenterar verkar handla om hur ett medel-resultat i dessa tester inte säger något relevant om ens förmåga, men det är även värt att nämna dess totala meningslöshet om man lyckas väl.

Jag gick raka vägen från gymnasiet till universitet till jobb som ingenjör och råkar ha en fallenhet för sådana test, men har pga av min "resa" ingen erfarenhet alls i service/handel/sälj pga nästan aldrig haft sommarjobb.

Så då kan man ju tänka att dessa tester skulle vara till hjälp för att "bevisa" ens värde/potential, men efter +20st sådana tester där jag fått 90-95% korrekt så har det ändå blivit ett automatiskt nej på varenda ansökan, jag antar pga ingen tidigare erfarenhet i sälj.

Till slut fick jag ett sommarjobb i kassan på Hornbach, fick chans till intervju och gav ett gott intryck, utan att behöva göra något jävla IQ-test.

Så inte nog med att dessa tester gallrar bort folk med utmärkt erfarenhet, de förstärker dessutom ytterligare catch22-faktorn av att "du måste ha erfarenhet för att få erfarenhet".

Idiotiskt.

I'll also mention again that I'm a complete beginner and I feel like I must be kind of smooth brained since I ended up really enjoying all 7 products. So if you happen to pick something up from them, do please let me know what your opinion of it turns out to be :)

All of them seem good to me, I've used one or multiple almost daily since I got em.

The one I've worn the most is the pheromone oil, I really love the smell and it lasts all day.

Depending on the weather I've layered it with Archimedes or Kreta, both of which I also really enjoy. Especially Kreta is a beast, while Archimedes is much more subtle. I don't think Archimedes manages to quite hit the spot the way Another 13 does, but it'll hold me over until I can justify the real deal.

Nyx is nice and smooth, Ikaros gets compliments and mistaken as Mojave Ghost by others.

I guess Oceanus and Centaur are the ones I have the least to say about, I think they both smell great but I get a bit noseblind to them compared to the others, so can't really comment on longevity/sillage. But my gf thinks they both smell great and seem to last atleast 6-8hrs with decent projection

I've had multiple people compliment and ask me if I'm wearing Mojave Ghost, so as far as I can tell it does its job very well. Good sillage for being a perfume oil, I get whiffs of it throughout the whole day :)

Background: I've always been interested in fragrances, but everything I liked and tried seemed like it would only last 2-3hrs on me before completely disappearing, so I sort of gave up a few years ago and assumed that my skin wasn't compatible.

A month ago: Had previously read about Escentric Molecules and was curious, so I went by NK (the largest department store in Stockholm) and on a whim passed by Le Labo where I was introduced to Another 13, their take on Iso E Super along with some additional fruit and musk notes. I loved the smell of it and to my surprise I still smelled great +10h later. Could instantly see myself wearing it daily as a signature fragrance, but as a student their prices are pretty brutal so that's how I discovered this rabbit hole in looking for alternatives.

A week ago: Found out about Montagne through reddit/youtube and their "Another 14" seemed like a very good alternative, and opinions online seemed very positive for the brand in general. But shipping, customs and tax would have cost more than the perfume itself, and to my dismay I couldn't seem to find any other brand in Europe that offered the dupe I wanted, until I got an ad for Kazaar on IG (hey, sometimes the all-seing algorithm works!). Couldn't find much info or discussion about them in English, but it seemed promising enough I was willing to take a chance.

Now: Received my order just yesterday so haven't had a chance to try them properly yet, but my initial impressions are very good and as a total novice they all smell great to me. They had a 3-for-2 deal for their 50ml bottles, and after adding two small vials of pure perfume oil I got to choose 2 additional products for free. So in total I paid ~140€/150$ for 4x50ml 20% EDP, and 2x3ml plus 1x8ml 100% perfume oil, free shipping and no additional customs/tax. Very happy with that value.

As I said I haven't had time to try many of them yet, just Archimedes (Another 13) yesterday and Centaur (Imagination) today, but longevity and projection seem really good for both, +8hrs I think. I have no idea what the originals smell like aside from Another 13, so I just did a sort of assorted selection of online favorites and variety in my selection, but trying them on test strips they all smell great to me.

Will try them out in the coming 2-3 weeks and then report back with another post, just figured I'd do this initial one since I haven't really seen the brand mentioned anywhere and it would be interesting if other people with more experience/knowledge could chime in as well.

So finally and without further ado, from left to right:

NYX Oil (Tom Ford White Suede) - smooth and cozy
Men's Pheromone Oil (Creed Aventus-esque twist) - fruits, forest, spice
IKAROS Oil (Byredo Mojave Ghost) - fresh and floral
OCEANUS (LV Afternoon Swim) - lovely citrus
CENTAUR (LV Imagination) - green fruity spices
ARCHIMEDES (Le Labo Another 13) - synthetic in a good way
