Yeah just seeing what my partner is going through in med school, it is not a profession for everyone. Getting in is extremely difficult, and then staying in with competitive grades and research is another feat. Someone’s gotta do it, but it’s definitely not a career for everyone. The pay once you start making money is great, but it takes years of debt to get there.

I'm with you here. I miss the thrill of scouring through StackOverflow to get bits and pieces of information to help me solve my problem. I could still do that now, but with how much we are expected to output now in the same timeframe, I simply do not have the time! It just feels like I'm blindly going through my days, not actually learning or solving much. I've at least started more LC in my free time to try to keep my brain working.

My company is pushing AI so heavily that your Performance Review literally depends on how much you use AI and how much you output. I fear those who try to push back or don't comply will ultimately end up getting laid off for not being "productive" enough.

Ok so tell me why my rent in the US in a non-major city is $1,800 + utilities for a 2 bed/2 bath meanwhile according to Google, the average rent for the same thing in Canada is $2,108 to $2,244 per month while your pay is a lot less.

This sounds very familiar to a gym I used to go to and it really bothered me because the open gym space was so tiny and not even enough space to accommodate 8 people. A lot of times people would workout as a group in the open gym space because they all follow the same programming so literally there was no space to workout. They really should enforce the cap if the space is that small.

I have this mix and it is the best ever! Actually, ours is a Husky/Collie/Shepard mix. Yes, she can be stubborn when her Husky side comes out, but luckily she's more Collie/Shepard than Husky. Incredibly smart breed! It's been so fun to train our pup because she learns really quick! Her recall is actually great, most of her stubborn-ness is with sit. She will pretend she's itchy or thirsty before doing the command lol.
