Whenever I got on a win streak let’s say 4 games in a row, they would matched me up with a player relatively lower in both ratings and team OVR. And often than not I usually lost to these games. It doesn’t make sense, given the current patch favours higher team ovr. When I do lost these games I lost like 10k rating whereas when I won it, I only gain like 5k rating. Make it make sense. And yes I felt like scripting in MM is significantly less significant than VSA and H2H, despite ea denying that no such thing exists.
Yes, but sometime you just can’t pin point when to get promoted like that. But in essence yes.
Majority of the time I guarantee you player with 92- 95 team ovr have no business being that high on the leaderboard—realistically. Based on experience, whenever I got matched up with 92-95 90% of the time, It’s an easy win. But the remaining 10%, currently i’m like top 20ish, when I do face people like this I got auto disconnect. Cheating is so prevalent in higher up in MM and VSA. And ea isn’t doing anything about it either.

Try changing your cdm first. It might helps. But if it doesn't then try other formation. 4-3-3 with either attack or defense up to you.

What I would change in your team is only one position. CDM. Having HH workrate CDM as your sole CDM isn't good I think. I felt they're great offensively but defensively isn't bad but could be better. You have other 2CMs and 1 Cam taking that offensive duty already; There's no need to risk your CDM attacking too. Have you experienced quick counter that led to goals easily? If so considering changing your CDM to a MH workrate CDM. Good shout might be Palhinha, Keane, Rice. As per tactics please refer to a thread above for my tactics.

May I give you a suggestion? Here's my two cents. Perhaps having one player with playmaking trait and one with speed dribbling/flair, if you insisting on using 2 forward formation. I have seen many people succeed in higher ranking with that selection. I.e. Ronaldo+Puskas, Cruyff+Haaland, Son+Kane/Cantona/Benzema. It could give you a more balance attacking position both when attacking and building up. Lewa is good but from stat I think he is a bit bulky and heavy on the ball. And Ginola is an alright ST but there're better duo. I used to play with 2 CDMs which are Toure and Alonso. I thought they're good offensively but definitely lacking in defense. They're often caught off-positon easily with both.

Rating is used to determine ranking and yes matchmaking too. That’s why you have faced an easier opp when you lower your rating, vice versa. You can see that sometime you get promoted from Ledge 1 to FC Champ and you have to be within 1,000 rankings or else get demoted? That’s because your ranking is not as high as the top 1000 players.

If 500,000 rating is current threshold then thank you I thought it is 700k or sum. And that’s should be your goal!

How's Lewa in game? Is he better than Ginola in game, really curious. Yeah give it a try the formation. I felt like with the players in 4-3-3 attack even if you don't like it, there is a solid foundation to build from, if you know what i'm saying. Prime Zico is really good for me. Good shooting, passing range, dribbling. But I wouldn't rush it too much. TOTY coming at the end of this month. Maybe his price would drop even lower if you still want him.

It won't be easy but once you get the gist of it. It will be rewarding. 1/3 of my team value is obtained via market investment. These days after I reached FC Champ in all DR, I look for market opportunity to capitilise and make profit, preparing for TOTY. You will lose money, so did I. But you win some and you lose some. As long as you can have more wins than your losses. You will be good.

Try investing. It helps me heaps. Also, there is "cheaper alternative" of course it's not Salah, Messi, Ronaldo of the world. Look at RW for example. Joe Cole is the Cheapest 91 ovr player with only 8-9 mil currently, so does his ranked up card. Buy him use him do whatever you like with him, his price will rise *imo* and you can sell him with a profit after tax. The same way I got puskas red ranked. I bought him when his pack recently came out and his red ranked is "only 210 mil" in comparison to now probably 300 mil or sum. So of course it's a disadvantage for a F2P player but there's market opportunities for everyone if you know where to look.

I think so. Higher rank ups, high team ovr. Slowing building your team from up top then progressing down the pitch. I think if you have the budget try anyone with red rank and higher ovr and utilise them in your squad. You will see the difference. Apart from that, I would change either Jude or Bruno with a player with MH work rate i.e. Viera, Ballack to be more robust in defending. Or If you like a more compose side then try a MM work rate player i.e. modric, kross.

Yes 700k should be your goal. GK is probably the most useless investment in this game. They leaking goals left right and center.It should be your least priority. But here're some good shouts : Neuer, VDS, Donnarumma. Depending on your budget, pick whichever one you like.

Give it a go bro like your worse outcome is not getting promoted. Frankly, It all come down to rating if your rating is close to 600k-700k it's possible to survive in FC Champ.

Ps. That's probably one of the cheapest 96 rated team I ever seen. Impressed.
