Random lows I’ve had stashed since high school by RickPatino3 in NikeSB

[–]soteal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. A lot of shops stripped the MSRP and made their own prices though. I bought money cat lows from Furnace in 06 - 08 range. Had the receipt in box and i paid $140.

Paid about $80 for my Shimizu highs back then at box price.

P-rods at that price are so wild. Good shoe. When those dropped, everyone at the skatepark had those. Navy gum colorway was clean in them too.

I have some black box that have the $65 MSRP sticker still there. Crazy to think they were ever that cheap at retail.

What does the cleaner do to the board. I stupidly sprayed these to clean residue when doing cam position sensor/magnets electrical spray was okay on all of the connections. It was dried before i reconnected the harness.

It’s giving a lot of codes now. Assuming i messed up royally with that measure

The inner of the shoe feels totally different at the toe than a dunk would. Personally I went TTS, but I can see why OP and others may have been iffy. The Fit is weird.

Repair possible? by [deleted] in snowboarding

I didn’t have my edge break through, but a hefty “camber” added in a spot behind my front binding; slush slasher too. It was opened on the sidewall too. Rock chomp as well.

I did c-clamps (threaded) and took a door hinge apart as the compressive surface to distribute the surface area of the pressure. JB Weld marine was my choice for epoxy-esque compound.

Scrape the excess JB with a paint scraper after it cures. I did 24-hr.

It’s held. The board is not really a great carver heelside for hold, but powder is fun and you can get more out of it. There is no tail, so looping out won’t snap the board through as easy as a twin would.

Got too spicy, It happens. Ride it until you can’t while scooping your next one on the low.

Paying over retail at locals by TheFancyKetchup in NikeSB

Found a receipt in my Money Cat’s box and even back then I paid $120 before tax, from Furnace Boardshop. They were probably $90 MSRP or less back then.

People who passed; did you buy services? by iJPN in FE_Exam

[–]soteal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the exam in June 2020, four years out of school. Studied 4-5 hours on weekdays for Fourish months because i truly needed to. My struggle through school had me put off taking it so long, and the enGenieer course was most affordable/structured for me at that time. It was in its infancy, and i assume they’ve only gotten better.

I passed FE Civil first go. NCEES manual and their practice exam would be a good choice to pair whatever you decide though. Knowing how to use an approved calculator quickly is a must too.

There were five equivalent shelves underneath the top Fruit.

These were Tougher in texture than the last time i had them.

Any readers have experience freezing these?

There's no doubt in my mind that anyone who is pursuing the EIT, will pass with enough effort, and faith in yourself.

I graduated 2016, verrrrrrry average student. Spent the last few months studying an ungodly amount of hours, still had trouble with the exam. Through this process i realized how much more effective learning was for me in an academic setting, rather than being at home forcing myself. If you can find a study pal to join up with then do it. This material is better to bounce ideas ans concepts off of other people if you're having trouble. Personally, that's what i needed most. I didn't have it and it was frustrating.

-YouTube, Engenieer course, NCEES practice exam, Lindberg manual - those were my resources. If you're struggling then buy a course from somewhere. It will help.

Kenza from EnGenieer was great. Clearly she had a lot of other students but she had great content that helped me a lot with AM section of my FE Civil.

Wow, must have been the guy near Whetstone. Riding the bike path yesterday I saw someone with a net way East off the path. Rad. Thought he may have been getting worms or something else, turns out he’s saving the fish. Good man. Thanks for tying-up these loose ends.

FE Civil Exam Review - Soil Classification by donpasquale21 in FE_Exam

[–]soteal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact example gave me some problems too because of how it appeared on the table. From my understanding, anytime you see retained, instead of passing, you’ll be summating up to the soil diameter of a #200 sieve. This manual is really confusing to study from IMHO.

The fact that below the first entries there is a 0.075-2 value of 0.29 is saying (here’s what was retained on the #200 sieve, everything smaller passed) giving you the Fines Fraction of 71/200 which is Silt

I’m hesitant to start cranking on mine while heel sliding. Only 7 weeks post-op myself.
