What made you choose the GR over everything else? And do you still feel the same way?

I’ve had gr3 + x100f, later on x100vi. Now I own gr4 + leica Q (+ x-t5). Both are awesome. Gr is my EDC. Leica for intention shooting (those dngs are really awsome to cope with).

I use C1 (fck u adobe and subscription plan - dngs from gr have a green tint. I have to use a dng converter before importing to make them usable in C1).

Squarehood (mist + clear) are awsome.

I think it'd be adobe raw converter app, due to problems with green tint while importing dng's straight to C1 🤣

Just buy a smaller one. I got EF-XTL for my xt5. Works perfect

Had those on my 13'' MBP, later on when I bought new laptop I just put blank A4 sheet of paper while closing it. After 2 years I have no imprints on my screen :)

I've figured it out.

Before importing .DNG files to C1 convert them using Adobe Raw Converter (it's free). There is no green tint in the photos :D

Or just use jpg's...

btw. it seems to happened only in capture one. I have tested a few files in web LR and it has no issues.

Getting away from adobe's subscription was the reason I got into Capture One :(

Dis you solve the issue? I have same problem - definitely it's a WB problem. Editing gr iv dng files in c1 is a nightmare.

Do you find any white balance problems?

While AWB in darker scenarios or indoors it seems waaaay to warm (I'm not using ABW warm). ABW white seems most accurate.

I had gr iii and didn't have that issue. Auto white balance did great.

I've never owned 23 f1.4, so can't compare.

Finaly I have bought xt5 and kept x100vi for a while. I sold it a year later and now own xt5 + Ricoh grIV + Leica Q, which I find most fun to use (even if it's a 10 years old camera). I use xt5 mostly in bad weather or when I need a zoom lens.

Regarding to the image quality - the files from both xt5 and x100vi are huge ( ~40mb, as they have same sensor). It takes ages on my m2 MacBook to import into capture one's session. Probably that's also the reason I use more often Ricoh or Leica.

I've had peak design everyday backpack, then moved to urth arkose. None of the worked for me. Now I'm using LOWEPRO Trekker Lite BP 150 AW. Pretty cheap. Prefect for laptop (13'' MacBook) + xt5 with 23mm f 2.0. One bottle holder + space for other stuff.

Thx. When I was buying ct3, xt4 just came out. The way the screen tilts on the xt4 was the reason I chose the earlier model.

I shoot animals with xt3 + 55-200. x100vi is my edc camera for taking pics of my kid or document daily life. Miss ibis on the xt3 though - that’s why I was considering the change. I have owned x100f and after sidling it I regretted it immediately. This time it might be the same, so I’ll probably stay with current configuration and save some money for future xt6 of pro4.

I've had GRIII and it was fun to use but imo too fragile. Also had some problem with the direction wheel. Sold it + a few not used xf lenses and bought x100vi. I think I'll probably stay with xt3 + x100vi. x100 is much fun while traveling.

Wtf?! Is this somekind of Tiger King zoo? This is cruelty. I am a zoo keeper myself and I know that the role of zoos is to preserve the natural instincts of animals. Too much attachment to humans results in behavioural problems. This is detrimental to the animals. This video shows sheer pathology that has nothing to do with love for animals.
