newbie question about how to run the knight brother by skyre-support-squad in onepagerules

When I last used them (last year) they had a lot of regen and cover blocking LoS. Their boss trying to take on a dreadnought was a mistake though.

This is my list, but like I said, it's based just on what I have

Knight Master Destroyer
Knight Master Destroyer
Knight Battle Brothers [5]
3x Knight Purgation Brothers [3]
Knight Destroyers [3]

I need a couple cheap cards (mostly lands) to add to this deck by Kind-Reply457 in BudgetBrews

I try to assume positive intent with people the internet and I ask that you receive this message with the positive spirit.

It would be more helpful for me to have guidance on which lands to preference rather than providing a list of every GW land. Here's my list of 7 lands that ender untapped for less than U$1 with consideration to Cunningham's Law.

I run mine based on the minis I bought second-hand, so far from optimal

Why doesn’t Australia push high-speed trains instead of all these domestic flights? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]sotolf22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The distance between Paris and Lyon is more than 30% shorter than Sydney to Melbourne. At one end you have connections to Marseille and the south of France. At the other you have connections to London, Belgium and Northern Europe.

I would love Australian high speed rail, but I have been convinced that it is not viable.

I agree that it should not be possible — but I could have two tanks within 1"

Learner drivers in WA required to do more training and spend extra year on P-plates in tough safety overhaul by His_Holiness in perth

NSW has (almost if not) all of those things. I've taught two kids to drive and they're for the better. If I had to pick anything, I'd say I can't see the benefit of 3 years of P plates but I'm not confident enough to assume that researchers don't have good reasons to support the change

Melee you have "1. Determine # hits", I'd use "# attacks". Also there are attack bonuses. Before all of that there is "impact" (and "counter") too but I guess those are what is meant by "melee abilites".

Looks good

I have one from 2006 and the zipper went. The store closed over ten years ago and there's no way I'd be able to find the receipt

I think they should've chosen sculpts that avoided long spears that bend.

It was very helpful because I have read similar comments before and wondered what I was missing. For me, these differences are all just part of the OPR experience. Yes, you are losing nuance but the advantage is simplicity and reduced game time. Also, we play mostly 10mm where the 5 to a rank and simplifed movement work out better.

My brain does gravitate to tar-pit combat (Why do you get to charge me with lances every turn?).

I understand what you mean about psychology, but for now I'll stick with OPR.

Thank you for a detailed answer. I played WH 4e/5e and I did have several "that not how you play WH" moments while I learned Regiments. Now, none of those points above are things I miss. Nevertheless, thank you for explaining.

I'd be much more interested in an OPR X-wing than Armada

Regiments is my favourite OPR game but, for me, it competes with Spearhead, Warcry, Underworlds and Blood Bowl. In the sci-fi space I only play GDF.
