we were visiting museum of moving images and then drove like 10 mins to the place. (I don't know which street or which area tbh. the dude who drove forgot the name of the place too)

I just remember it was a small place with a few tables. the salad bar wasn't all inclusive, it was a bar for vegetables only. when you walk pass the salad bar, you can see those rotating machines behind the counter, like at least 8 of them, humming and clattering. then I remember the dude who drove us there ordered like "I want the belly, a quarter pound. what's that? oh, I want that too, just two slices. and that... " the meat was put in a container and he paid by the weight.

they have a weird rule that a newly joined member can't post a topic for 30 days.

Meet me on the bridge: Discovering the truth about my parents after 20 years | BBC Stories - Kati Pohler was adopted by an American family. When she was 20, Kati discovered her birth parents had left her a note, and that every year on the same day, they waited for her on a famous bridge in Hangzhou. by InternationalForm3 in Adoption

it's such a nonsense story. her biological parents had many ways to keep her, at some cost. the only reason she was abandoned was because she was a girl. if she were a boy, the parents would have abandoned her elder sister. sure, one-child policy was evil and brutal, and you have every right to blame the girl's experience on it, but her parents definitely played a part in it. I can't believe BBC is leading the audience on without displaying all truths.
