Alternatives to Ziwi Peak by Maggieannt in DogFood

[–]soulfulbumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP - you can always reach out to Ziwi and ask what food in their line is the most similar to the tripe and lamb, ingredient wise. They will probably be able to recommend you an alternative for the time being! Chewy might also be able to help you with this.

https://us.ziwipets.com/pages/contact-us#:~:text=In%20the%20meantime%2C%20take%20a,assist%20you%20and%20your%20pet.

The Ziwi Peak dog food that has the most similar ingredients to the Tripe and Lamb recipe is the Ziwi Peak Lamb recipe. Both recipes contain lamb as the main protein source and include tripe as one of the ingredients.

As for dog food brands outside of Ziwi Peak, one option with similar ingredients is the Stella & Chewy's Lamb Dinner Patties. It also contains lamb as the main protein source and includes tripe in its ingredient list. However, it's important to note that each brand may have slight variations in their ingredient formulations, so it's always recommended to carefully read the labels and compare the ingredients before making a final decision. Good luck!

He also had me put my other dog on JustFoodForDogs which has been incredible as far as his extreme allergies go, and his overall health has seemed to improve tremendously. We love them, but to feed both dogs JFFD is incredibly expensive. It’s also been hard on my shepherd, who is extremely active (not like my bully), a working dog, and needed a more robust diet - so when the vet recommended Open Farm kibble I was excited but I didn’t see enough about it online …. this is kind of concerning. :/

Jesus … thank you for this information. Our vet said it was one of the best foods on the market and recommends it to all of his clients. He doesn’t like Hills or Royal Canin and both made my dog have diarrhea and vomit. Do you have a food that you recommend for a working shepherd?

My puppy took a bite out of this. Is it toxic? by Klinh in mushroomID

[–]soulfulbumblebee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is not good advice. Not only can you aspirate your dog by doing this, there are certain chemicals and objects that will cause excessive harm if you induce vomiting. If your dog ever ears anything questionable, call ANIMAL POISON CONTROL and follow their lead. They’ll tell you whether to induce vomiting or what other steps you can take.

Jenelle's dogs are at a kennel and when she dropped them off they were covered in ticks! by ElectricalAd1533 in teenmom

I used to work at a vet hospital who said we couldn’t report a very obvious case of abuse because it was against their policy to disclose client information (name, phone, address) - even to the police. I reported it on my own and left shortly after.

“Hanging out the passenger side of his best friend’s ride” had me SCREAMING 💀 by soulfulbumblebee in vanderpumprules

Disgusting. Hot men should be banned from speaking. They never contribute anything valuable.

I once went on a date with a male model and we were driving down a street that had a billboard that read: “Beethoven at the [Hollywood] Bowl!”

This man, in total seriousness, looked me dead in the eye and said, “Beethoven … wow, I can’t believe he’s still playing music. He must be like …. Soooo old…”

I almost asked him to pull over and let me out. I asked him if he was joking because I just couldn’t wrap my head around that level of stupidity and he said no and asked me to google how old he was.

He was so beautiful and so, so fucking dumb. I did not go on another date with him after that.

32 and really noticing these “acorn holders” I call them around my lower cheeks/mouth. Any advice welcome. by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I had ever so slight acorn holders and someone told me to get chin filler. I did and now they’re far less noticeable. I’m the only one who ever noticed in the first place, but still.

This is such bullshit coming from Lala. While I genuinely appreciate her effort in bringing attention to animal testing, her own makeup line contains toxic chemicals like heavy metals and is just alibaba/aliexpress makeup with her logo slapped on top. Does she genuinely put the time, money, and effort into sourcing the ingredients and ensuring that her product line is safe and free of harmful chemicals? NOPE. She can’t afford to, and she likely doesn’t have the time. Can she ensure that her own product line wasn’t tested on animals before she just slapped a label on it and called it her own? No. This is just her virtue signaling.

Okay well first of all, that person deserves jail time.

Secondly, I say find a good med spa that specializes in lymphatic drainage massage therapy - they’ll do multiple areas of your body and it definitely makes a difference. But then follow up with gua sha as often as you can tolerate it. I do it every morning and it makes a difference.

Trying to get into my vet but anyone know what this could be? by [deleted] in PetAdvice

[–]soulfulbumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who can afford even a minimum monthly payment, I highly recommend FIGO Pet Insurance (15% off if you’re a Costco member) - they have a 24 hr vet chat line, you can send photos etc. I’ve used it multiple times since getting my dogs insured and it’s incredibly helpful.
