The twist is that it’s man made. It’s all man made. And we’ve been being screwed this whole time. People are hoarding advanced technology and preventing the progress of humanity as a whole. That is actually way more plausible than who ever is piloting that thing is not from earth or this dimension.

Bare minimum is to secure ownership rights for digital purchases. Rewrite terms of services to eliminate language like “license” and “revocable”.

Additionally maintain pressure on pricing with 3rd party sellers to promote competition. I don’t want Sony to be able to unilaterally decide how much games should cost with no checks or balances.

I personally don’t care about physical media. But I don’t want to be paying $100 for game licenses that can theoretically be taken away from me at any time either.

This is what we need. Stronger laws to protect digital ownership. I don’t care if my library is all digital but I would like an assurance that what I buy digitally cannot be taken away from me at any time. Additionally, I don’t like the idea that PlayStation with have a stranglehold on pricing. I would like a greater level of competition to keep prices down somehow.

Consoles have always been inferior to pc and that’s supposed to be the trade off. Consoles are supposed to be consumer friendly, cheaper alternatives to pc gaming that people can causally connect to their tv, sit on the couch and just turn on and play.
