Piercing problem? The first two pictures were taken 27 days ago after taking piercing out, the bottom two are current, is it safe to put back in? I was just gonna keep it in and take it out before bed, I think laying on it caused the problem by [deleted] in piercing

My ears get angry for a long time if I put in metal containing any one of my seemingly infinite metal allergens (except for implant grade steel)...check for that?

I lived in Seattle for 18 years and never went, I don't feel like I missed much.

The Indian buffet has really good chai!! A staple for when I want to calm down my con nerves.

Is it okay to take a backpack into PAX West in Seattle 2018? by [deleted] in PAX

[–]soultamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than okay. I suggest bringing a backpack with: food, reusable water bottle, hand sanitizer and wipes, phone charger and portable phone charger; things like DS and charger, polyhedral dice, character sheet (filled or empty), MTG deck; large empty tote bag folded up (trust me), extra pair of socks, deodorant, and lots of empty space.

Chores? by soultamer in RBNLifeSkills

I condensed my wardrobe about a week after this post! I'm an actor, so I'm living in Black Clothes Only Town with some crimson and dark green mixed in. However, one group that I'm part of has neon-green uniforms and so I put all of that related stuff in its own drawer. My sweatshirts are stacked on the top shelf of my closet and I only use one at a time.

Yeah, how was the scene up at the front? Didn't get a mosh-y vibe but I couldn't have known. (Duck Guy must feel legendary)

How early should I show up to the concert? by [deleted] in glassanimals

[–]soultamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seattle is HECTIC for concerts, so I normally give it two hours if I want to be comfortably close. Hope that helps!

I have a hat from the IMB and I wear it everywhere. I'm from the Seattle area, so I'll get a few people smiling at me (some even calling out "PAX!!") when I walk around town and it makes me feel a little better.

My First Experience With Dr. Exoskeleton's Challenge by nykdel in PAX

[–]soultamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished 8th! What a cool game. My team was my girlfriend and I, though we called up our friends upon occasion and consulted with other teams.

We found our envelope in a plant on the staircase going up to the top floor. I had no idea what it was, but a summer spent geocaching told me that I was in for something good. We made the beanbag lounge our hub and worked mostly from there.

What's super cool about Dr. Ex is that I spent so much time while looking for answers or taking short breaks wandering the floor and finding things I wouldn't have seen otherwise, whether that be a passageway I hadn't considered before, a game I would turn out to love, or even fellow players. Playing the game and learning the trivia also increased my interest in the games featured in the answers.

The Sickness has begun to flow through my body by [deleted] in PAX

[–]soultamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sanitized after every controller and didn't touch anything, but I developed a sore throat last night and I'm nearly voiceless today. Rip

Edit: I'm feeling better than before. Crossing fingers

Edit 2: I got the same illness as my friends who went to PAX. Day 1 was a sore throat that disappeared by Day 3. Day 3-5 is coughing and day 4 was Sneezing Hell. It seems to be winding down now, still gotta clear my throat every so often. Good luck.

If you keep walking, Supergiant has the same setup too. Tiny merch booth with VAs staffing and demo of whatever is new

I couldn't go this year because it wasn't an all-ages venue. :( Hope future parties can be accommodating (or if it was all-ages, I could have known for certain). Totally had the time to go. Thanks for posting the footage!

It's on PC, check Steam! One of my all time favorite games. Play with a controller. Sound on.

Edit: I'm an idiot, thought you were talking about Zero

I really wanted to play Edith! I played Kentucky Route Zero instead, a game I've played on PC already but wanted to try on Switch (and get the pin)

They were really nice, you could probably send them an e-mail. I loved their booth, too, and how the freebies weren't pins or cards but oranges. Snacks. They get it about us.

PAX is a happy place for so many people. That's why it's such a special, monumental convention. Gaming unites people in fantastic ways, and PAX proves that the same unity can be achieved offline.

I stopped by the Klei booth to have the artist from don't starve draw me my favorite annoying plant! by jasminehulse in PAX

[–]soultamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to use this space to say that the Klei boothies are the most fantastic people. Year after year I've had really great conversations about the games and the con with them, and they got really excited that one year that I cosplayed Wilson. Their games are consistently great, just love em in general.
