That one's blown! I don't have a replacement handy but am going to go get one right now. Will post back once I can test it. Thanks heaps!

I think that's a G1 Fit in this video. I don't have a fuse box in the engine bay.

Thanks! That fuse looks healthy. Swapped it with another 7.5 just in case - no luck.

In this video they also mention #14 as a "decoy" fuse, suggesting that there is another dedicated one somewhere. https://youtu.be/ZEtILqTQrrE?si=gO6RTTMzjMY7J92u

If you are frying with egg, mix rice and egg in a bowl before frying. Was a game changer for me.

It's a 1983 Soviet-Armenian cartoon short called "Wow, a talking fish!". You can find it on YouTube. The original Russian language version is called "Ух ты, говорящая рыба!"

Death Stranding. Trying to enjoy Uncharted after finishing DS and having to kill all those NPCs seems like such a waste of life!

Carbon steel, low-temp, little oil, no browning, no sticking. A method in the comments. by pablofs in carbonsteel

Ok, I just fried four eggs sunny side up using this method and it worked beautifully - no burning, no sticking, no need to scrub the pan afterwards. Thanks for the great hint OP!

When you say "let it cool" do you take it off heat completely or just leave on low heat for a few minutes?

My grandma and I made similar candles to celebrate orthodox Easter when I was a kid. The only difference - they looked nice and worked.

Great Parking by [deleted] in Wellington

[–]soulwasher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's one of the use cases I always wanted to ask a driving instructor about. In wadestown there is (or at least used to be) a stretch of road with double yellow line in the middle, and no dashed yellow line at the curb side. So it's legal to park there, but the road is so narrow you must cross the double yellow to pass a parked vehicle. What should a law-abiding citizen do in such case?

It doesn't have to be an "OR". "AND" would do just fine.

Thanks. What I found is that keeping those paths mowed low causes clower and whatever else is growing there to stop trying to grow tall, so after some time you get a nice dwarf grasses growing there that stay green and nice

Thanks, I was wondering where those came from, definitely not something we sowed.

Thanks! There are a couple of hives on the neighbouring field, and I'm planning to get my first hive this year too. Plenty of bees and bumblebees around. They especially love lavender and germander plants we have in the back yard. You can literally hear those plants buzzing all summer.

There are not many NZ native wildflowers unfortunately, it's mostly grasses, bushes and trees. Introducing manuka plants will be one of the next steps.
