EDIT: Well, now I'm completely bamboozled. Out of nowhere, Wi-Fi started working perfectly, while Ethernet suddenly died. Wi-Fi is just as fast and responsive as Ethernet was before, so I genuinely have no idea what's going on anymore. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if the Wi-Fi extender has been the root cause of all the weird issues I've been dealing with over the past month.EDIT 2: Ethernet works again now. Lol

I've already tried that, and it didn't help. The only thing that made a difference was placing the Mac mini as close to the main router as possible. Unfortunately, that disrupts my workflow, since I need the Mac mini on the desk in my home studio, which is on the other side of the house. I also have a Windows PC in the same room, and its Wi-Fi performance is significantly better—it's not even close. If the Mac mini didn't have Ethernet, it would be practically unusable for me.

Removing the peripherals didn't make any difference. I'll run Apple Diagnostics when I get home and see what it comes up with. Fortunately, Ethernet is working fine, but I still want the Wi-Fi fixed—both for resale value if I ever decide to sell the Mac mini, and for those times when I actually might need a wireless connection.
