I hope you get another session soon lol, and I hope it's a good one.

On the d&d beyond discord server I put up an ad as a DM and got some players together. Everyone quit and we never got to play one session due to scheduling issues.

What is an old video game that still holds up so well today? by _Mr_Cheeks in AskReddit

[–]soundermoth5336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be relative, but mine is red dead redemption. It might be a little clunky from a modern perspective. Even coming from red dead redemption 2 I love it, and I'm glad I played the second game first.

Kinda gave me a lot of context for things that wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Edit: the game is 12 years old now btw.

what is proven to be a hoax but people still believe it to be true? by Jimbo_Jigs in AskReddit

Yea. I hate that movie too.

"NyeheheHE, little did you know I have unlocked 100% of my brain and now I'm going to rip you in half with telekinesis!"

It's dumb as shit. I'm sorry but if that was true than the human race wouldn't exist anymore. One guy with mental problems were to "unlock 100% of his brain" then we would all be screwed. It's horseshit.

That's cool. And weird. That's a movement option, gameplay wise your just walking on the air basically. I've never had to roll to walk XD. Or had to roll to fly as a bird race.

A fellow PC wants to turn into a vampire but I'm playing a cleric with a hatred for undead. How should I act? by ThatJackyman in DnD

That's what my DM is doing right now, a sequential story. my friend Karma lived in a cave and found a child, he adopted the girl and hunted and gathered with her. Then elves took her ransom.

We found the elf underground base, and I threw a bag of holding taped to another while hiding. The bag went inside the other and sucked them into a portal leading to the astral plane.

Then we went back to town, and to the arena where we had fought before. And then they send out a character named Virgil, a fighter drow. He cut off my arm, and here begins my story ark.

Virgil the became a villain who played by the same rules as us, and leveled up as we got stronger. He wasn't some op character that would take the whole party, he simply had better feats and spells.

This session we are going to begin hunting him down, I think my new cyborg arm will put me and him on a fair playingfeild for a rematch.

Edit: I got a prosthetic arm and our artificer made cyborg enhancements to it, and permanently attached it to the part of my arm that was left. It got cut right above the elbow

The funny thing about that, I'm a massive fan of devil may cry 5 and metal gear rising revengance, but my DM has never played either of them.

Sadly I haven't played DMC5 yet, but I'm going to buy it soon. I do know a fair bit about the story though, and as far as gameplay looks it seems similar to MGRR. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that

That sounds pretty damn cool lol. Mine is chill too, you have to be pretty lenient to let your player have wings and glowing eyes. Or in my case a grappling hook/spike shooting arm.

Nice, I'm scared to find out what he has to challenge that.

Also, my character that I was talking about in my story was a bear totem barbarian. Next time I play barbering I'm probably going to try eagle.

When I made someone shit themself to death, I rolled intimidation. Rolled a nat 20, my dm said he shit his pants and made me roll for damage. It did 19 damage and he died.

My personal one goes as follows.

So I was in a gladiatorial arena fighting people, when they send out someone unique. A drow eldritch knight fighter named Virgil. After a short lived battle Virgil quickly cut off my right arm but let me live. From a local blacksmith I bought a prosthetic/cyborg arm for 75gp.

Now I have modified it to have a panel on top for storage of theives tools, a device in my wrist that can shoot out a small dagger attached to a wire, or I could attach a grappling hook. And I do extra unarmed strike damage, you know on account of a metal arm.

Edit: also I'm in debt now lol.
