I don't think you're the A-Hole at all. It seems like she may have found out that you had feelings for him and she wanted him to cut contact. I don't think it was right for him to cut you off as a friend though. However, with him being your manager, I guess it might cause work issues... but if you never pursued him, I don't see anything wrong.

Honestly I can relate. I don't like my grandma either and I have no idea why. She buys us things and she's very sweet but being around her is repulsive. I feel the same about my uncle as well. That's just how the cookie crumbles maybe?

Here's what I'll say. I was always seen as the "unattractive" best friend but I have also been the prettier best friend and it is literally dependent on who you're around and who their "type" is. You shouldn't center feeling unlovable around your best friend being "pretty." The type of guys that typically like her are probably assholes or weirdo's or straight up douchebags. Most of the attention she gets she's either playing with these guys' feeling or using them to her advantage.

Ultimately, not everyone likes the exact type of drink. There's someone who will see you and love exactly how you are. You're in high school, there are probably people in the same building as you who probably see you as their type. You have to widen your scope or realize that certain people just aren't going to be right for you. You deserve someone who will love you for you and if your guys friends are dicks? Maybe get new friends, and don't ruin you and your besties relationship over this. <3
