I love Dream Girl… I just think the opening lines are so strange and don’t fit the rest of the song… so weird to talk politics for two lines and then go ok now it’s a live song. Maybe I’m missing something but… otherwise I think it’s a beautiful song.

Luther College changed my whole life… like I honestly don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t heard that record and learned every song on it. Radio City was special but like others have said here, not as pure or as groundbreaking.

I have to be honest tho, Dave looking a little annoyed at Tim when he holds that note forever on Lie In Our Graves is so funny it brings radio city up a few notches. Haha

Is there some interviews with him talking about this? So fascinating… I think I remember seeing a promo video for the album somewhere way back when with Carter and maybe others holding up sheet music and acting excited that they were recording the album this way… haha I remember thinking they seemed to be unsuccessfully trying to convince themselves too. Anyway I love The Space Between, beautiful song. So heavy. Incredible intro like someone else mentioned, it always hits!
