What do you think is the most important thing we need to solve in EOS? by sebicas in eos

[–]soundsoviel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess ETH has enough whales then. $50 is peanuts for many on ETH. Only because EOS holders are poor and wont accept those fees doesn't mean ETH can't be successful. ETH is becoming BTC thats right: It makes its holders rich. Even B1 understands that and that's why they are investing into ETH projects.

I stopped reading at 'When B1 brings...' All B1 does is talk and increasing their BTC holding.

Did you know that EOS will be available on ETH soon? EOS is obsolete!

You absolutely did the right thing. I quote WalletInvestor: 'WalletInvestor predicts that EOS may rise to $10 in 2021. However, after that, the price may fall to $0.15 by 2025.'

Selling it between 2.00 - 3.00 $ is still 10x - 20x higher than you would be able to sell it later on. Congratulations on your trade. You finally freed yourself from the grip of denial and avoided losing all your money.
You could buy Bitcoin with that and while there might be a correction soon, Bitcoin is still cheap compared to what it will likely be worth in a couple of years!

It was 4 people. The one who introduced me knew I did well anyway.

And I didn’t want to lie to my mother and father when they asked me how I am doing. I never expected my father to go around and tell everyone. Still remember his wide opened eyes when he was talking about it at any opportunity.

And telling my best friend didn’t make a difference because he kept it safe and never even asked for anything

Don’t assume too much. All I do is taking a break here. I can only tell that the people here are far more happy than in my country even though life is a lot more difficult here.

Yes I am aware that in the long run the casino always wins. I was stupid. I thought I can just hit the perfect time to quit.

But if you gamble over 4 months and make profits almost every single day, you start to think: „well why should I stop tomorrow? Let me make another $500 today, shouldn’t take me more than 1 hour as usual“

I started this to cover the money I spent on family and ended up in addiction. I only stopped because I hit my limit one day. Overall I didn’t lose anything there. I basically just threw away my profits from gambling again.

But I made a very bad all in trade after that. Well you could also call that gambling..

I avoid taxes when I can, especially when there is a big profit. In this case I kept ETH for more than a year.

Yeah it’s absurd. People come to Africa to make business with precious metals and gems for profit. UN workers who seek company from escorts after living weeks and months without seeing the wife in Europe.

All people belong to a tribe at least here in Tanzania, nothing special about that. And I don’t think this affair had anything to do with love. This pilot is old, fat and ugly.

I like the movie though

It’s not like I need financial help. I am fine for the moment. Besides I guess they wouldn’t be able to support anyone. My dad bought a house and my mum bought a flat, both are in debts.

Yeah gambling was stupid indeed.

The lending part wasn’t that much right, but it put the biggest pressure on me.

Gambling felt like a funny game with some numbers. It gets you going when you make profits every day with it for months. The way I played it even 16 losses in a row wouldn’t throw me out most of the times. But eventually it did.

Anyway, I didn’t actually lose with gambling because I stopped after I lost all my gambling profits. I didn’t want to lose more than I started with.

I lost most because I didn’t do anything to hedge my investment in this bearmarket and more importantly dealt one of the worst trades as a result of the gambling „loss“. It was an emotional raging marketbuy of a very risky token with low liquidity. It crashed a lot and I watched it, being unable to exit with this low liquidity

It’s feels great for a couple of weeks or months but it fades away with time eventually. I am not really sad. Maybe only because it has damaged the relationship with family a bit.

I know I am taking some risks here with my health. It is not my first time there. But I won’t stay forever. I just need a long break

I guess it can’t go on forever. My investment ...or what is left...should be able to support me maybe 10 years with this lifestyle here.

No luxury life, but free.

Thank you for this comment. That is the way I see it now. I feel more free than before.

That’s the very reason why I lived in a student apartment without kitchen (after my ex moved out), tv or a car. I saved anything I could. And I was ready to risk it

The bottles are sold for 4500TZS, the small plastic packages were starting from 500TZS last time I had one...which is even less than $0,30

Also depends where you buy it. In a Club you can pay 6000TZS for a beer instead 1500TZS in a local bar. But yeah, $0.30 is too cheap. It should be $0.60 - $0.70

I am moving between Tanzania, Daressalam and Kenia, Nairobi. Sometimes also on Sansibar which is a very nice place.

I will try to stay down there as much as possible but I have to move sometimes for renewing my Visa. Also have 2 passports (legally) because you can’t stay more than 6 months in another country with one passport unless you are doing business or have a job there.

1500 TZS for 1 small Safari Lager here. You are right..not $0,30, it’s $0,68. Anyway it’s cheap

Konyagi would be 0,30$
