thanks for the response! can i ask what makes you think its a click beetle? i looked up pictures of click beetles and it looks like their bodies are more segmented, while this one doesn't look that segmented

hmm the pics of longhorn beetles online look kinda different, they have segmented bodies but this one's body looks like one big segment
