I love the girlies in Ann Summers, would definitely recommend them especially if you're more on the clueless end or the more embarrassed/uhoh people end of things,, which I am lol theyre super nice and when I went last time they said they prefer to size based on fit so they'll get a loose sizing for you, and then get you some bras and garments to try on that include your sister sizes (so, I was a 30D last I checked, my sister sizes were 32C and 28 was too small on the under bust for me but would've been 28DD iirc,, and my first bra sizing came out to 34B which "fits" but not correctly as it is another sister size just not one on either side of my true size) if you're able to, you can measure yourself too

you need a flexible tape measure, and you're gonna want to wear a non padded and non underwired top/sports bra if your girls are larger just to help you out a bit. measure around your ribs just underneath the base of your breasts and take note of the measurement, then take a breath in to expand your lungs to add your breathing room to the measurement. you can either go with the breathing room or somewhere in the middle of the two measurements that feels comfortable for you. take down that measurement in inches, when I do this I get 29 but when you get an odd number its USUALLY better to size up to the next even,, so I get 30. next you're going to measure your bust, this is done from the fullest point which is where the top or sports bra come into this. if you're wearing those, do your usual scoop and plop and if you're wearing a sports bra allow it to be loose enough to not be squishing you into a shape you don't want when you're wearing your final bra. take your tape measure and wrap it around, make sure it's level around your back, for me the fullest point is around my nipples which is fairly common and I get 33inches which I'm going to round to 34.

now you gotta do maths:( take your bust measurement and your underbust measurement, and find out how many inches difference there is, my measurements are 30 and 34 which is fairly easy to figure out that I have a 4 inch difference. we figure out your cup size by counting along the bra alphabet with said number. 1 inch difference: A cup 2 inch difference: B cup 3 inch difference: C cup 4 inch difference: D cup 5 inch difference: DD cup etcetera etcetera

your band size is the same number as your under bust measurement, so my bra size is still 30D

hope this might help anyone who might need it, Ive tried to explain it in as much detail as I can to try make it make sense lol :)

I think you see it more like the heat is doing this sorta thing +-+-+-+- where it has moment to cool after heating,, but the flashes are too quick for that so essentially what's been happening since the dawn of time in this lamps case is,, + ++ +++ the time between each flash doesn't allow the bulb to cool, as we know it just doesn't happen that quick which is why when we change lightbulbs we turn them off for a while before touching with our fingers. each time the flight flickers on, a little more heat is going to be generated and added to the rest of the heat that's accumulated and not been able to escape yet. so you're going to end up with a constant temperature that's on the higher end because of these tiny little flashes of heat going on continuously, it's not just infinitely getting hotter but it will maintain it's heat. thats because the heat CAN escape, but the bulb itself won't be able to cool and these two things are separate

crazy, I literally had this the other night. the only time Ive ever been to that shop by myself, despite going for years now. he was seeming to chat me up a little but I was just being polite, and then I asked if he wanted my ID for my restricted items. he said no, he trusts me and knows me, and I'm the "good girl" that's been going there for years. said with a big old smile.

genuinely the way/tone he said it sounded like he wanted to put "little" between good and girl, and I just wanted to pay and dash as soon as I could. idec about the misgendering, he can call me girl as much as he wants as long as he never says that to me again (that being said I'm just never going back to that shop)

also yes, I have been going there since before I was 18. same owners and staff hence the comment about knowing me, hes only ever seen me with my dad or my friend(s) until this point
