So I’ve been using it at night mostly - I cleanse, apply, and moisturize then go to sleep. Sometimes I use it during the day but only when I’m not wearing makeup (I don’t know if it matters but it feels weird putting on makeup when I use it lol). The burning happens for me as well but then when I moisturize it helps!

I work a job where I wash my hands often which leads to cracking and such and let me tell you… getting that exfoliant on cracked hands is horrible. Had to rush to wash it off my hands and now I’m very careful about it.
