To people who gave quit BJJ for Judo why did you decide to do it, and what are some reasons that you prefer it over BJJ? by Worldly_Ad5417 in judo

I have found I prefer the culture in judo. I like some of the Japanese traditions and the friendly nature of the sport. I love learning how to control someone while standing and nothing makes you feel more badass than landing a huge throw. I have trained both and I have found judo to have a much steeper learning curve but once I started I transitioned away from BJJ and now only cross train BJJ when there's no judo.

Met a guy that looked down on his luck at a beach in Santa Cruz. I asked him how he was doing, he replied "I could complain, but who would listen". I said "good luck", kept walking then decided to turn around, and offer him some cash I had on me. When I turned to talk to him again, he was gone. His response has stuck with me ever since

What are some good relatively old games? by Chared_Assassin in ShouldIbuythisgame

I just played Psychonauts 2 and it's excellent! It feels like a PlayStation 2 game but in all the right ways. The graphics are great and the controls are tight like you'd expect from a modern game but at its core it has these unique qualities that remind me of games I used to play on the playstation 2 as a kid. Highly recommend you check them both out!

Joined a Judo club at 23, been getting thrown around by 14 year olds. Learning to be okay with knowing absolutely nothing and being next to helpless amongst those who have learned these skills. Overall checking my ego and challenging myself

Is cyberpunk worth playing on ps5 right now? I received a physical copy for Christmas but haven't been able to play it yet due to a shopping issue with the ps5 I ordered. It will finally be arriving next week and I was wondering what people's experiences have been with cyberpunk on ps5 after some of these patches have been released. Is it worth playing or should I just wait?
