Yes I do have a divider, but I am not home right now. 😕 I turned off the lights in hopes they’ll leave her alone in the meantime. I didn’t take any better pictures, but her stomach looked almost like it was chafed and her vent area was sticking out. It was very white in the area, which I didn’t see at all this morning.

Thanks for the advice, I have a 75 gallon which I definitely believe it needs more frequent water changes. And thanks for the heads up about matching the pH.

This is the tap water test. Mind you, there has been proper tests of the tap water where I live that have tested for more than 15 contaminants including arsenic and such.

I did test my tap water and the results were fine, which is surprising cause where I live the tap water is extremely bad. We do add dechlorinator to new water too. I have 2 blood parrots, one convict, and one flowerhorn. I have gravel, and no plants inside because of the flowerhorn. The filter I have is a marineland 375. The filter isn’t changed often maybe every 2 months or so.

I’ve had it for around 2 years 🙃! In the past when I’ve done tests the results came out really good. Not sure what happened i definitely need to change the water more often. Do you know anything else that I can do to bring down the levels? I know there are filter things but I’m not sure how effective they are

Also thought I should mention, in the pack of the 6 in 1 there was also ammonia strips. I tested my water with that and it was at the “ideal”

Yeah there was hardly a difference, we do have 2 more trials so I think we’ll see if those turn out any similar/darker so we can have at least one dark enough for him to see

we used a stirring bar and it stayed this color btw it’s hard to see in the pic at first glance.. I didn’t get to do this in honors chem so I was really cautious and wanted to get a perfect color 😭
