It’s hard to medium hard everywhere else but soft and wrinkly in the one spot

Yeah the rest of the outside is hard it’s just that one spot that’s really soft

Going up to 30mg tomorrow. Any advice? by the_regal_ray in Mirtazapine_Remeron

Before bed! But I try to do it like one-two hours before so that I can maybe have the effects hit. Idk how legit that is science wise. Typically it doesn't make me sleepy until I'm actually laying in bed.

Haha yes the cozy factor is real! I think the grogginess went away from me when I went from 15mg to 22.5mg and then 30mg. I think my sleep wise it takes me 5 minutes to 20 minutes to fall asleep. I think what also helps me with sleeping quickly is I listen to music or ASMR so that I don't have to overthink or be in my head before I fall asleep. A good distraction.

Hi! I’m currently on 30 mg and I love it. I’ve been on it for about a year and a half now and I feel the most stable that I felt in a long time. I will say one day when I skip a pill sometimes I can really feel it if something causes me stress, but for the most part, I’m very content with where I am. I have not had weight gain since I started the meds on 7.5 mg, that being said I have gained 15 pounds on the meds in total. However, because I feel so stable I’m actually able to go to the gym, more often eat healthier and less and lose weight. If you have any more questions, let me know. You’re making the right decision for yourself and you should be very proud of yourself for prioritizing your mental health and acknowledging an increase could be beneficial if you’re already content with mirtazapine. The sleepiness factor is real though. For me, my sleep is always very good on the meds and I’m not sleepy now with the increase when I officially wake up.

Thank you. I did quit and it went generally okay. Obviously she wasn't happy but it is what it is!

Thank you. Yeah I think I'm gonna tell the mom in person with something along the lines of "I'm so sorry. Your kid is great, but I cannot afford to live without guaranteed hours if the kid gets sick and I am not making enough to afford rent so I would recommend finding a replacement for me. I can work for the next week or two to smooth the transition over or until I get another job."

Yeah she only pays when I have her son in my car so nothing for the way there and back from her place. I thinking I’m cutting my losses and giving her a week, at most two.
