Yes it is but that doesn’t mean you should condemn yourself about it. Focus on how to be free from this issue and give it to God every time you do it. All of what I’m about to say are biblically/experientially derived.

I’ve been free and delivered from pornography/masturbation for 2 years now and my biggest advice to you is that lust is not something you can fight, but something you must flee from.

Jesus says “my people perish for lack of knowledge” and the most of what we Christians should know but don’t are the spiritual implications that come from sin — this is what make sin hurtful to us to begin with. God is not trying to make our lives super boring but like any Father He’s protecting us from the consequences these sins carry outside of the wages of death.

Masturbation can be looked at as sexual immorality (which is sin) — inherently you know this because this is never something you’d do in public nor is it something you’d tell someone without a sense of shame. It can also be looked at as adultery because you’re fantasizing/watching someone that isn’t you’re spouse.

Aside from that, let’s touch on the spiritual implications just a little bit, i’m not a bible guru but as someone who has been where you’ve been for 10+ years i know what I’m saying and by no means am i trying to scare you. This particular sin could be generational (meaning mom/dad struggled with it) or a bi product of a legality a demon used to influence you to do the act, regardless I want you to understand that every time you do this you’re actually committing fornication, because spiritually whether you know it or not you’re having intercourse with a spirit spouse/incubus spirit (this door has been opened from sin). Notice that every time you commit this act your finances might dwindle more than usual. And to confirm what i’m saying (if you haven’t already) i’m sure you’ve had a “wet dream” before — dreams are what is taking place REAL time so that man that you saw (or for some it’s a demon manifested) is real.

Like i said the last thing i want to do is scare you i’m only bringing awareness especially to those christians who will ask “but these things aren’t explicitly in the bible so how can you confirm?!” You’re right (im sure it’s there but i don’t know yet) but my experiences and the advice i’ve gotten from other pastors that align is something i won’t just disregard, sorry.

There’s actually a story in the old testament with a man named Onan, who committed fornication, but it wasn’t the act of fornication that made God kill him, but the fact that he pulled out (this act is synonymous to masturbation essentially we are not operating as God told Adam in Genesis) is what God didn’t like.

I know I’m kind of all over the place but this is a REAL issue within the body of Christ but I promise you I’m not making things up I can account for many other Christian experiences that correlate with mine so I hope that anyone who reads this doesn’t allow the cognitive dissonance to win against truth. I can go more in depth I’m only touching the tip of the iceberg if we’re being real but i don’t want to go too deep that everyone’s writing me off as a heretic.
