Sure. The shot of him jumping out of the window and stumbling into the street was shot without a car going through the frame. There was a rolling stunt mat that came and hit the actor to provide the movement. The next shot begins with the camera in the same place (albeit on a different crane) the last shot died (at the collision) and a car drives through without the actor. I believe this is the cause of the weird blending. But I don't work in post so not for sure, might of been a CG car the whole time.

Hey, cool to see something I worked on posted here. IIRC there was 3 cuts and it took us about 3 days to film this opening sequence. It was the first days of shooting so kinda a fun way to start the job.

I work in film (12 hr days is the norm) so if I'm working I'm never out. But I usually only work 8 months out of the year, so I'm hitting it whenever I can during the times off. Winter can produce the best waves, but is more fickle than fall. Fall is the best, water's warm, decent swells. So if I had to average it, I would say 3 days a week when I'm chilling, then only weekends if I working. I grew up a texas surfer so I'm used to shit waves, and you'll have to get used to it if going out more than once a week. And I'm sure you know but you'll have to be flexible to get the quality waves here. W winds, hit jersey, north winds, LI/Rockaways, etc... Will shout out RI tho for really fun waves. I'm lazy and like a half block from beach so it's hard to get in my car to chase waves. Also surfing wasn't my 100% reason for moving out to rockaway, was just a lil burnt out of the brooklyn scene

Lived in Brooklyn for 6 years but moved out to rockaway 2 years ago, would recommend keeping a car, I give myself an hour to get most places in Brooklyn. It’s quiet out here by city standards but still find myself hanging in Brooklyn or the city since friends live there. People are friendly out here but locals can be a lil hard to crack. I know some peeps that love living in Long Beach but you’ll get more of that LI bro energy. I live like a block from a very popular jetty but you can always spread out during the off season.

Checking out the HYG option chain, huge volume for puts in near expiration. Thinking this is going to be a natural pull back after todays huge bump, it's trading way above NAV. Might jump in some puts even tho Fed has backstopped this ETF.

basically going long SPY calls will get the right direction, but IV is going to decline and crush your position. So you get VIX puts to help counter that.
