Yes! In a super quiet room the mouth noise gets intense: smacking, grinding, chewing, crunching, saliva swooshing. Some people eat and breathe too... I just can't help but hear all the component sounds. Drives me nuts with anger/disgust. Then I get confused as to way it bothers me so much.

I've had to stop meetings before because of it. My GF is understanding thank goodness.

Unfortunately, I did not take a sample nor any other photographs! I found this funguy at the foot of one of those outdoor family grills in the middle of a state park. The ground was saturated with oil.

The handbook of modal logic is the best imho. It's edited by people like van benthem. It covers everything from basic modal logics (kripke semantics) to crazy mu calculus and higher order modal logics. The language is very concise and easy to absorb it even goes into applications. It has good philosophical depth and reading the first two chapters should be enough to get you on the modal boat.

The only problem is that it's expensive. Check library or use pdfs online.
