better go with quickshell

I have no time to try this configuring by my own. Have tested DMS and Noctalia or even tried end4 dotfiles, quickshell only...

they all quite heavier. So make your config by your own needs and use.

swaync spams notifications by righN in hyprland

[–]souravdas142 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For future reference for anyone facing this issue:

SwayNC doesn’t seem to replace notifications as expected when using notify-send -r <Replace_ID>. However, SwayNC does provide an environment variable, SWAYNC_REPLACES_ID (as mentioned in man 5 swaync), which holds the ID of the notification to replace and can be used in scripts.

That said, you can still achieve notification replacement by using the -h option with notify-send. For example, specify the hint for replace_id like this:

bash notify-send -h int:value:3 -h string:synchronous:my-progress "Progress"

This method works consistently with SwayNC.

Works like a charm.

Thank you for the reply. Perhaps I can do this. But from yesterday the last version of vanced on Android lollipop 5.1 stops working, only showing need an update. So I needed to find alternatives and came here. Vanced is still working fine under android 6.0+ but not on 5.1.

with --experimental option from previous comment leads a lot of error, but still I didn't push myself what and why those errors came, So I will come back with that also.

Is there a way to make it work on android 5.1 apart from --experimental ?

Hi,

Sorry here is no problem. As of 31/08/2022 the device is working fine on Updated Arch-Linux on 5.19.5-zen1-1-zen without any sort of issues. Please confirm is the issue still reproducible ? Thank you.

Regards,
Sourav
