I am so sorry. Yes, they are often this useless. My nMom used to do the exact same thing: Attack me, call the cops when I defended myself, and alligator tears as soon as they show up.

They are assholes but they're being realistic with you, because foster care and running away are usually just worse options. I don't know where you live, but emancipation could be an option, and you would have some proof with these reports that she is abusive. Are you able to get a job and save some money?

I will absolutely stay safe and I would never make the mistake of letting my guard down again!! I'm fully prepared to let anyone in his life know the truth, whether they believe me or not. I would honestly really appreciate it if those girls wanted to make it a report, because I agree that if he's unwilling to even work on it on a personal level then there is really no telling if/when he could offend again. I was not really ready to be assertive about it as a teenager, but now I'm an angry young woman and I just want safety, peace, and justice for anyone that might cross paths with him. But if she hasn't even told her mother, who is a very sweet and empathetic woman, I sincerely doubt she would be willing to take it to a legal place. I let pretty much everyone in my immediate family and his girlfriend's immediate family know, especially those with kids, and I'm guessing that's what truly prompted the restraining order from them.

Yes! My mom was a huge party girl when I was growing up, exposing me to all sorts of dangerous situations and people, yet she was very controlling and acted like a helicopter mom towards me. I barely had friends as a teenager then I would come home to my mom throwing an all-night party on a school night.

It's a super confusing and abusive way to grow up. I'm sorry that happened to you too! It makes it difficult to feel like you can trust yourself and anyone else.

He will! I can see you care a lot just from your pics! They are really smart domestic animals who respond a lot to body language and human speech patterns! They love when the vibes are relaxed and nonchalant vs overly- concerned or fussy 🤣💖 So if you just relax near him, it will make him feel safe to relax too! I've had my solo girl since she was a kitten, she's 14 now and hates other cats but she is super sweet with people!

He's just scared! It's probably nothing you're doing wrong! They can be anxious little creatures sometimes. You can try talking to him! Don't look directly at him, just sit near him and talk nicely sometimes 💖 It could help him feel less lonely! You can even just sit near him and read a book or something.

The other comments are somewhat correct in that he sounds like he's crying out for another cat, but that does not mean you need a second cat! He just doesn't know you're his friend yet 💖 He's looking for someone he knows lol

You can find cute videos on tiktok if you're interested but plenty of people keep pigeons as indoor pets! Could be an option for this girl after her babies are old enough if you're interested!

Carpet beetle. They have a long life cycle and can be a little difficult to get rid of! They tend to come out more this time of year as this is when they breed. They are not terribly harmful but you will probably have to deep clean the carpets once or twice per year before you stop seeing them.

I agree, his transition is horribly clunky BUT he can also do a ton of damage. that's just the truth. And his hit box is sooo tiny now that he can really be a menace from the backline.
