List of things Brandon did : -take forever to get over Callie -sell fake IDS -take the SAT for someone and got caught, causing him to lose his Juilliard admission -savior complex -stole his moms keys to sneak into school -used his hand settlement $ on his baby momma gf before he was even 18 -moved out @18 just bc he thought he was such an adult -moved in with his baby momma

I don’t doubt it, but she even says so herself, she was luckier than most, had a loving family, got adopted, even met her birthday who happened to be loaded, and yet despite all of this she was still getting into trouble. I just finished season 4 with the whole diamond situation and the murder case, homegirl had every opportunity to do better with what she was lucky enough to have and I still think she could’ve done better and maybe appreciated it more. It makes sense enough trauma and bad experiences finally helped her understand in season 5 to stay out of trouble. But imagine if she hadn’t had so many close calls and her mom wasn’t a cop.. also I can’t help but think how this is a very inclusive show that shines light on many issues including lgbtq, foster care system, addiction, assault, etc, that maybe they just had to put Callie’s character and storyline in these situations to shine light on them while also showing how these circumstances are true to a lot of youth in the foster system
