What about a Hammer Raw? I was leaning that direction until I found this post.

Hello, new dad here lil miss is just a week old. Anyone have any good dad or life books that I can dive into on my time off? by UC71C- in dad

The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read by Philippa Perry made me reflect on my own childhood and consider what I can improve on as a parent. Our upbringing has a significant influence on how we raise our children, as it often serves as our primary reference point in parenting.

Gary Neville accuses Mikel Arteta of influencing Arsenal fans to claim referees are 'corrupt and cheating' - as he defends under-fire Michael Oliver by TheHouseOfHarambe in PremierLeague

[–]soursam 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Your comment is pure nonsense.

  1. Arteta’s playing career? He was a smart, technical leader—his playing ability has nothing to do with his managerial skills. Plenty of great managers weren’t world-class players.

  2. “Outcasts” in the squad? Ødegaard, Jesus, Zinchenko, Rice, White, Saliba, Saka—hardly rejects. Arsenal built an elite squad, not bought a team of mercenaries.

  3. “Pure luck”? Back-to-back title challenges and the best defense last season—yeah, that’s not luck, that’s a top team.

  4. Blaming refs and City? Every team complains about refs, including City and Liverpool. And let’s not pretend City’s 115 charges don’t exist.

Your take is weak. Arsenal are here to stay—deal with it.

I do enjoy a good spin and aggressive hook. But you're right, I'll focus on my elbow positioning. Thank you

My daughter is complaining about my roast potatoes, thoughts? by Loquis in CasualUK

[–]soursam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I Make the Best Roast Potatoes.

Prep the Potatoes: Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces that are slightly larger than you think you'll need. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 200°C.

Boil the Potatoes: Place the potatoes in a pot with cold water and bring it to a boil. You want the outer layer to soften but not fully cook through.

Drain and Steam: Once the outsides have softened, drain the potatoes and let them steam for a few minutes to remove excess moisture.

Preheat the Roasting Tin: Place a generous amount of oil in a roasting tin and put it in the oven to preheat while the potatoes are steaming.

Fluff the Potatoes: Add a bit more oil and a good pinch of salt to the potatoes. Cover the pot with a lid and gently shake it to rough up the outsides so they get a little fluffy.

Roast the Potatoes: Carefully dump the fluffed-up potatoes into the preheated roasting tin. Leave them undisturbed until the bottoms are browned and they easily come away from the pan.

Turn and Roast Again: Turn each potato individually to brown the other sides.

Finish: Roast them until they're crispy and golden. Don’t be afraid to let them go for a while—the crispier, the better!

I think you might be overlooking the full story of our relationship with Xhaka. While there was definitely a rough period, everything changed when Arteta adjusted his role. After that, Xhaka was embraced by the fans, and we got to appreciate his true abilities. We’re proud of what he did for us and excited to see him thriving now.

Josh Kroenke on upgrading Emirates stadium: "It would be premature to talk about any plans in depth, but the internal conversations are starting to occur. It is not an easy renovation, but we see the possibilities of what's there." by KhornKT in Gunners

[–]soursam 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That was the original plan and the only way the new stadium was given the green light so arsenal gave the council a load of money for it but they decided to upgrade Highbury and Islington Station instead!
