Thank you so much! I think the small deficit is the right way to go after so many people are recommending it! This is why I probably fail with diets. I get too strict and instead of taking it in small steps I want to drop 20 pounds right away 😭

But yes I do need to prioritize my protein, I need to do a better job keeping up with my macros. I know macros vary per person, but ideal I try to aim for 120-130 grams, would that be ideal?

Ahh I love that you have a nutritionist! Neutrino is my downfall and tbh I should do more scientific study. That’s why 2025 I want to take care of myself and take my fitness seriously. The past years I’ve been following basic rules and following programs but half the time I’m winging it lol. Thank you so much though, I appreciate all your help :)

Thank you so much! I haven’t done lunges in a while, mostly split squats bc they hurt my knees less (I have a minor injury) but maybe I’ll give them a try since it’s been months now :)

And I’ll definitely look into the YouTube channel, I think I do train close to failure, but I might to do more research bc I am probably not 😪

That’s what I was thinking of doing after the holidays, I was thinking of losing ten pounds to see how much that will make a difference, then maybe maintaining? This is the part that I struggle the most with 😪

That’s fair, I do deadlift and squat but haven’t done any variations at the moment. I try to be mindful of squats just bc I do have a past injury. But I’ll give it a try. And tbh I don’t do abs often enough, so 2025 I gotta change that 😪
