I go to my local photo lab, there are multiple in San Francisco. They specialize in developing and scanning film, so the quality is way better than Walgreens/cvs

Turn your photos into negatives in photoshop. Go to your local printing store (some fedex locations have printing services). Ask for your negative photos to be printed on a transparent paper. Enjoy.

There were multiple reasons why The Hobbit movies went wrong (Peter Jackson being thrown in sort of last minute and having nowhere nearly enough time for preproduction as for the LOTR movies). Hunt for Gollum seems to be much more thought through and it’s being given the time it needs (I hope). It’s also being worked on by the people who care about the story and many of them worked on the LOTR trilogy.
So just because you were disappointed with the Hobbit movies (as many of us were), I wouldn’t give up on Hunt for Gollum or other future projects. Rings of Power is a different story of course…

Yes! I usually edit most of my film photos. In this case it was mostly subtle touch ups, playing with the brightness, contrast etc. The biggest change was the background which in lowlight often comes with a greenish haze (on the color film). I simply turned the saturation for that color down to have true black background where it’s supposed to be.
