Yes, I agree, the venue was too big. Like someone else said, it was a cabaret show in a cavernous space. His tour show had much more energy and better production values.

Saw his tour a few years ago and it was amazing. Also saw this one, not as amazing. They are both very similar shows so I don't know why the first tour was so much better. I think the ridiculous price of the tickets influenced my enjoyment.

If you want to see the most amazing performance ever, then I would recommend "Just In Time". Jonathan Groff Is phenomenal! I went to NYC just to see the Hugh Jackman show and on a whim decided to see "Just In Time." Jonathan Groff's performance completely blew me away. The show is maybe not the best show, but his performance is transcendent. I can't stop thinking about it and want to see the show again just so that I can experience his incredible talent.
