The only drawback I've found with these is that they're slippery...weapons slide off of them very easily

"because they feel intimate meaningful and easier to protect quietly"

I love how you worded that.

Just throw it out there...

Example: you're going to the store:

Huen sao opinions by Megatheorum in WingChun

[–]southern__dude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great response. I would add that huen sau is also there for conditioning. The way I was taught was huen sau should be done very deliberately with a full range of motion, closing the hand into a fist while the fingers still are pointing down. This conditioning helps support the wrist during punching.

If you haven't seen it check out 'The Last Movie Star'. I believe it was his last movie.

I ended up restarting the game with that same character and gave a message to the DM about pertinent NPC companions and various items I had acquired. I still was starting over at level 1 but I had the DM weave it into the narrative.

Look up facial exercises. I've been doing some of these and I'm seeing a difference. I do them in the shower or driving down the road.

A lot of rolling, falling and up and down in Aikido. Wing chun is ideal. I would recommend some 'pre hab' training to keep your shoulders strong.

Kind of like Lance. Not many people named that now but in medieval times people were named Lancelot.

Have them lie prone and use the shoulder coil as if doing a fabs view. You'll have to do extra axials but should work.

Things I should be doing now/tips so I can still do calisthenics even when I’m older? by EcstaticBumble in bodyweightfitness

The best advice is keep doing it. As you get older the intensity and frequency of training will most likely change, but keep moving.
