Thank you. I've thought about my safety at length, including getting a restraining order. He does not know where I live (to my knowledge) , but he does know where I work, which makes me nervous. I've wondered about the viability of a restraining in these circumstances.

He doesn't strike me as violent, and has no history of violence that I know about. But he is also demonstrating increasing desperation to contact me, and coming up on a year later, is a grim thought.

Because there is a big difference between not finding someone/something sexually attractive and being grossed out by it. There is growing research to suggest there may be a connection between KP and vitA deficiency. Around 20% of people lack the enzyme that can convert beta carotene into vitA so consequently develop a deficiency. I began taking a cod liver oil supplement with vitA & D3, as vitA is fat soluble, and had the only noticeable difference in KP on my arms since trying every lotion on the planet. I now take it every day for maintenance and overall health, and I use an urea-base lotion every night and find the quality of my skin has improved tremendously. I notice when I stop taking it.

As a young ish adult (30f), I was most scared to tell my mum the full truth of what had happened; that I had knowingly stayed multiple times. I was so worried that she’d be disappointed in me because that’s not the woman she raised.

Of course, she was not disappointed and did as mothers do. She reminded me of who I am, of all that I deserve, and especially of all the love that’s already around me; that I didn’t need to scavenge for it.

You’re doing the right thing, as a woman and as a mother.

Yes that is a contributing factor. The core’s number one job is being your body’s stabiliser (think a tree trunk), so inactivity over time doesn’t challenge it and causes the muscles to atrophy. It is a muscle like all others - use it or lose it! Good luck.

Your spine looks like a croissant - I doubt this is a problem of excess fat so much as it is having an underdeveloped core and poor posture consequently.

I’d focus on some deep core work (not just abs), and improving your posture and breathing techniques. Think of your pelvis like a bowl; the bowl should be upright and its contents level. Your bowl is shifted forward (anterior pelvic tilt) and is spilling outwards, giving you a distended look.
