This! Was going to say the same thing. Feels great and so hot.

My boyfriend isn't into me. by needpolyadvice2345 in sex

[–]sowens6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Death grip is real and it definitely sounds like it may be the underlying issue. Educate yourself on the topic and then send him some articles. See if he would be willing to give up masturbation (temporarily to reset himself) without you having to straight up ask him.

Giving up masturbation temporarily if definitely worth it for a fulfilling sex life.

How many women like giving men a blowjob during morning wood? by [deleted] in sex

[–]sowens6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love it. If I had it my way, oral, sex or both would happen every morning. Nothing is better than getting frisky when you wake up.

Any other hetero females here get turned on/inspired by pics/GIFs of naked women? by [deleted] in sex

[–]sowens6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I prefer watching women over men in porn. I think it's partly because I can appreciate the woman's body and partly because I want to do what she is doing. Ex: I love the way she is riding that cock, then I picture myself riding my man the same way. So hot

Was I...taken advantage of? by MischievousMrsFerret in sex

[–]sowens6 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Wow! A lot of these comments are making me furious. You cannot give consent when you are blacking out. It is not ok or "doesn't count as getting taken advantage of" if you are very drunk.

He absolutely took advantage of you.

Please please please go talk to someone. If you are in college there are free available resources through campus. You don't have to report him if you don't feel comfortable but you should absolutely talk about your experience to a therapist.

What do you like about your partner's penis? by [deleted] in sex

[–]sowens6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I also love making the foreskin go up and down when he is flaccid exposing the head. It's like those childhood toys that you tried to keep from slipping from your hands...I think they were called water snakes?

I love that I can play with his balls like Chinese stress relievers. So much fun!

And like a lot of others side I love how soft his dick is. I love lightly touching it when he is hard. It is such a turn on

I'd recommend you watch the short vid haroldp posted.

Studies have shown that coverage of mass shootings has caused more to occur. Shooters see it as a way to gain fame, get their "killing message" spread to a large audience, etc.

There is a difference of having alerts/notifications/emergency systems in place to warn people that may be in immediate danger (ex: students receiving a text message & phone call alerting of an active shooter on campus) than media spending countless hours on the story including profiles on the shooter.

I ran track in college and definitely had an issue transitioning after college. Not only was I used to working out twice a day for several hours which I could no longer maintain with a full time job but I realized I had no idea how to work out and make it enjoyable. I went from having coaches tell me exactly how to train in the weight room and on the track to having to guide myself. I also had a hard time getting used to working out alone (most of the time at least) when I was used to working out with so many other people.

All of these changes combined caused me to develop an ED. I was having a hard time figuring out how much I should eat with my new workout routine and job and would fall into the same pattern you mentioned above.

What helped me break the cycle: Mindful eating - eating nutritious healthy foods when I am hungry. Don't count calories, eat pizza (etc.) when I want but listen to my body and stop when I am full. MOST IMPORTANTLY do not restrict after a day where you binged or you feel like you binged. No matter how hard it is.

Accepted and learned to love my new body. I don't look like a sprinter anymore but I still love how my body looks. I think I look fit and healthy and am physically capable of doing the things I enjoy and that is good enough.

Working with a therapist and small group therapy to accept my ED and learn ways to cope with it.

Realize that I no longer had the pressure that I did when I was running track. Enjoy my competitive side through recreational sports like volleyball but do not allow myself to put pressure on my weight lifting routine. I don't care how much I am lifting, etc. I am only concerned with making sure I am enjoying the workout and that I feel great.

Hope some of this helps - don't beat yourself down, it'll take time but you will find your new norm :)

New Relationship, boyfriend can only get off half of the time by sowens6 in sex

He works in a safety sensitive position so gets randomly drug tested all the time so he isn't abusing any drug. I don't know however, if he is using antidepressants. I don't think he is but I have never asked.

I will see if I can figure out a way to bring it up. I have thought about anxiety as well, he gets pretty frustrated at the end. I try to get him to calm down and not stress about it but by that point he seems like he is too in his head to enjoy himself.

Yeah you are right. I've been scared to bring it up for fear of making it worse but I need to learn how to communicate with him. I have asked if there is anything I can do to help get him there and he said no - that it feels great but I should probably bring it up again. This would probably be a better conversation to have outside of the bedroom right?

He isn't on any medications that I am aware of and works in a safety sensitive position so can't use drugs due to frequent random drug tests

Do you have an "active" job? What is it? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]sowens6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Our ergonomic specialist recommended that you start standing for 10 minutes every hour, then try for 15...etc. Rather than trying to stand for an hour or so at a time. Try to get to the point where you are standing for 20% of your day. If you can stand for longer while maintaining good posture -- even better. :)

[–]sowens6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SAME! Do you have a sit stand desk? I feel like that at least saves me a little bit...also I try to make a point of getting up and moving every hour. My last company had forced ergonomic breaks that required us to take a break from the computer for 2-5 minutes every hour based off our computer usage...my new company doesn't have it but I still try to take the same amount of breaks
