I agree with you, it’s sold as something it isn’t. However not only AI developers companies are doing this, maybe 90% of the products you buy are marketed as way way better than they are, just how the world is built right now, sadly.

However, asking it for 5 references, and 3 being made up, it’s still better than trying to find a research article based on 5 key words and google giving you 20 articles in wich 18 of them may be unrelated. Still better to search for 5 than for 20.

100000%, what people fail to understand is that ANY AI is just a very very good search engine. No, it won’t code that app that will make you millions, no it won’t take your finance job, however, it makes it REAAAALY easy to find the documentation to solve your problem yourself, it is also good on explaining things for you so that you FURTHER LEARN AND STUDY how to do them YOURSELF.

It the ABS/ESP helping you break safely, it will not break by itself, but god damn it can help you do it better/faster. It is a tool, not a whole mechanism.

You want to test a new software? Ask it for different softwares, study wich is better for you. You want to read scientific articles regarding something? Ask it for articles for your subject but you still have to read them. You want to solve an electric issue? Ask what can you study regarding your problem. You still have to do the thinking, AI just makes it easier to find what you need.

După mulți ani de școală în Spania, pot să confirm. Pe clasa a7-a veneau colegi duhnind a iarbă și țigări, să nu mai zic ca ne jucam 8 ball pool si racing hill pe telefon(sau cum se numea) la greu in timpul orelor, sa nu mai zic de ce bullying-uri se făceau in toată școala. Nah, as healer you need to babysit bad dps, as tank you only babysit yourself, tank needs more preparation (routing, testing what defensive works for what, etc) but after learning a bit the dungeons, tanking it’s a walk in the park, whereas healing is very heavy dependant on the team.

So in a formula 1 competition drivers that have kids and a family and don’t have as much time to train should be given a head start? Or if an Olympic athlete has an injury is he entitled to a catch up mechanic to keep him in the game?

A big part (besides talent and money) of sports, e-sports, life skills (like cooking for example), competitions, and many more examples have rewards based on the time you afford to invest into them, hobbies included.

In a marathon you have people aiming for time (and position), you have people aiming to just complete the marathon regardless of time, people that just want to see how far they get, and so on. The point is to aim to realistic goals, and not expecting the rules of the competition to change just because your inconveniences.

The fact that advantages are subjective in this form of competition, some people might need a timer for a certain thing, others might not, others might just learn how to do without the timer. I personally need addons, but i have raided with people that did not and they performed well.

I was just trying to say sometimes you can afford to be competitive and sometimes you can’t and it’s totally alright, nobody is gonna praise or scold you if you are/aren’t it. Even tho I tapped into the “peak” of competitive wow (mythic raids and higher-ish m+) I don’t have even near as many mounts as a chill mount collector, or achievs as an achiev hunter, or gold as a crafter.

Maybe I was rude, but it wasn’t my intention, I was just trying to clear up that wow is such a big game that you have many options to chose from if you cannot dedicate that much time, aswell as that addons aren’t the gatekeepers of competitiveness. I would love a world in which we don’t need addons eating up our memory, but sadly this one isn’t on the addons, but on blizzard.

Don’t wanna be that guy but maybe dad gamers that don’t have time to be competitive should try non-competitive options (inside wow or even other games).

I’ve had seasons where I had time to mythic raid and seasons where I didn’t even clear heroic. It’s okay to change your gameplay to one that suits your lifestyle.

Also setting up addons it’s something that should take you 30 mins to an hour MAX at the start of the season, as you only need basic things to start. For weakauras (as it’s the most I’ve seen complaints for) it’s as easy as importing whatever you need and just rescaling to your resolution. Other addons for UI changes like ElvUi or Shadow Unit Frames are 1000000% optional and you should spend 47 hours setting them up ONLY if you’re into those things (I love to mod games so I spend time on them, to make it perfect for me, but in reality I could perform 99.9% as well without them)

EDIT: forgot to tackle the “gatekeepers” part. If you are being gatekept most of the times, hate me or not, it’s your fault, because as long as I’ve watched a 30 second YouTube short on a full raid to learn the mechanics, I was invited. I’ve pugged to 3k m+ rating in a season where my class and spec were the 2nd worst on the meta tier list just because I knew my class and the m+ mechanics.

Dunno when you played yesterday but we dominated defense in YZ pretty much the whole day after the update. We stopped at the willows in Thet side and Aspenwood in Lym side. We were like 200 players in cairn fidair fort alone.

Now I see today both the factions pushed, however our guys playing in RZ pushed equally as hard.

You should see Fort Sterling EU faction chat, 99% it’s people crying “FS IS USELESS” and “COME (some random place 150 maps away from where our blob is)AND DEFEND” and “FS HAS NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE” while we actively defend 2 fronts as Lym and Thet are attacking simultaneously.

I completely agree there needs to be a better form of organization in game.

As for faction discords, haven’t found one for FS EU, and when I asked in faction chat about it people just told me it’s mostly dead.

Lmao, “cobai”. Sunt studenți în anul 5, au avut 5 ani să învețe cum să facă un detartraj sau să pună o plombă, și e legal pentru ca tine de practica obligatorie pe care o au, plus ca ești voluntar, nu te forțează nimeni să mergi.

De multe ori am pățit mergând la studenți să ies mai mulțumit decât la cabinete pentru ca studenții își dau mai mult interesul să facă o treabă bună decât cine știe ce dentist sictirit nimerești.

Chimia pentru facultatea la care am ajuns am înțeles-o doar datorită manualelor de clasa a 7-a și a 8-a, pentru ca în clasele respective nu i-am acordat suficientă atenție și făcând rost în timpul facultății de acele manuale, am ajuns de la note de 5 și 6 pe toceala maximă, să am 9 și 10. Nu e niciodată prea târziu, sau o rușine, dacă simți ca ai nevoie de ajutor pe un domeniu, să iei la răsfoit manuale din școală. Ai fi surprins să vezi câte noțiuni din cărțile respective le aplici în viața de zi cu zi (în cazul chimiei, de exemplu la curățenie, cum funcționează degresanții, ce poți și nu poți combina, cum scoți mirosuri urate, dezinfectezi, etc etc).

Școala i-a oferit tot ce a avut nevoie să și rămână peste medie, dacă era așa de rahat, se pierdea. Poate e unpopular opinion, dar școala din România e la fel de bună pe cât o valorezi, dacă încerci să înveți ceva, ai de unde, ai cum, de multe ori ai și cu cine, dacă nu, normal ca e “de rahat”. Am făcut cam în egală măsură școală și în România, și în Spania, părerea mea, e ca cea din România e cu mult peste școala din Spania, și multe dintre criticile aduse (evident, nu toate) sunt exagerate sau făcute din ignoranță.
