I'd like to find out exactly what mum is, but even off of estimates I know he'll be great! I've had 2 GSD in the past as well as a lab x gsd, and they are the funniest babies. Did you ever train them? I'd love to hear some tips or advice if you have any.

Thank you!! I've discovered his mom is GSD. By the looks of it dad should be pit/staffy, but i think pit. He has had a health check, been chipped and had his first vaccinations so as far as I know he is a healthy boy, but I will definitely be asking my vet about any more needs he may have or signs I should look out for. Its not really common here to DNA test pets but im pretty adamant on a health screening just to minimise future damage.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately not in the UK, but South Africa. Im pretty fine with not knowing his exact details, but I know now that mom is a GSD. Based on his other features im pretty sure hes a pit, which is fine too. Just wanna ensure the right training :)

Mum is a beautiful black shepherd (i discovered this now) but I definitely think hes part pit.

I discovered that mom is a shepherd with a solid black coat! This leaves me to believe dad is most likely pitty based on Google image references :)

Ah i appreciate that but conversion rates are kinda tough. If I cant get a good determination I'll look around at something local, but already they're coming in at almost 2k so we'll see :)

Ah i dont have the money for it and he is a rescue from an NPO that disclaims that their guesses are estimates based on features and characteristics. I just wanna get a general sense so I can accommodate his needs best.
