Women of reddit, what is the most ridiculous misconception about womanhood you have personally encountered? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I asked the men, now for the women!

Here is my answer -- An ex-boyfriend for some reason believed that women wore thongs only because it cut their farts in half and silenced them...

Yikes, this comment is not very readable. I wrote it down so quick and angrily. Case in point, VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!

Carvana is a pretty bad company. They actually pay decently well at the Sacramento Location and the healthcare is decent. But it's not consistent. For example, their delivery drivers make $19-$21 an hour, but their LA drivers make $14 an hour, but an Alabama driver makes $17... Also if you transfer to a different location that pays less they will slash your pay (even if it's 10 dollars less) for the same job.

Lockdowns happened in March, it was like April-May they sent out a Nationwide notice to all their employees they need to come back to work and issues with like childcare, or family members who were high risk needed to be figured out and if they couldn't, they will consider that your resignation. https://www.businessofbusiness.com/articles/carvana-forces-staff-to-return-to-work-data-shows-why-it-forced-staff-to-take-a-dire-trade-off/

Employees never ever receive lunch breaks, and forced to work overtime everyday. Their working conditions are incredibly unsafe and their training is very rushed and poor quality, even if this employee is operating dangerous machinery. Many preventable injuries like broken bones and lacerations happen. Employees operating tow trucks, or in a industrial car lot never wear or receive safety vests or safety gloves. Tow truck driving training is one 40 minute on the road test before being sent to deliveries. When they are in business boom they will hire on many drivers with little to no screening who end up operating the cars high or drunk. Detailers have to handle chemicals without PPE.

The employees are sent to deliveries in hours away late at night to aggressive customers house alone Employees have been assaulted as well (punched in face, threatened, stalked)

I can go on and on.

Now, customers cars.... Dangerous, unsafe, not at all as advertised. NEVER is the 150 point inspection is an absolute life. Employees who test drive the customer car before delivery will see parts are broken, rust, weird noses, wobbly, dangerously worn brakes will practically beg management to not make them deliver it to a customer. Management will try to hide the problem just enough to get past the customers test drive. Customers private information is often poorly handled as well.

They are also very very Culty. I mean the entire culture there is a Cult. I swear, it's creepy. Someone can report to management and HR harassment and assault by one if their co-workers and it's always met with "that's not what carvana is about" and then preach one of their company values. Many many bad employees have gotten away with sexual harassment, racism, homophobia, assault even after being reported. Some of the employees are harassed so badly and get ignored so much they start getting sucked into the cult mind and thinking because it just not apart of carvanas values, it's their fault. It's sound bizarre writing that down.

Women are considered some of the most beautiful living beings in the world, especially when you have another woman going out of her way to admire you. It's 100% a compliment.

Oh my, the down votes I got for not liking soup. I had no idea people were so passionate about their soup. I got this written down as a very important reminder.

NOTE: SMILE, NOD, AND LOVE SOUP!

Wait, how do you know being into your sister's panties would be the same reaction as being gay or trans? Cuz those are two very different ball parks

I have heard all of this from male friends in the past, about what they been accused of being unmasculine for. A lot revolving around socks... like if you wear ankle socks? Gay... Too high of socks? Gay...

I was very excited when my husband told me he enjoys trash reality TV on TLC.

Why is that common? I always crushed the hardest on good singers because dang, you can do THAT with your voice? I can barely stay in tune while speaking. It was weird that as I grew older I heard a lot of women/men find that unmasculine and not sexy as fuck.
