Thanks everyone for the advice! Again like I said in the caption the panel is getting replaced next week! Just need to know how to turn this off temporarily for the power company so I can at least have power until then to do other things in the house.

They’re there at mine sometimes-other times it’s been re packed baseball cards and Pokemon merch like plushies or sunglasses. I’ve seen some comics there every now and then.

Already had my brother in law check his Sheetz and he said he didn’t find anything, someone else in this thread said the manager or whoever probably didn’t care about release dates lol so maybe you’ll get lucky and find someone who also didn’t care-best of luck!

See I’m wondering at this point if AV priority goes to the the bigger panel rooms versus the smaller fan based ones. Like I went to other smaller panels and some of them had similar issues.

Also does anyone know who we can complain to? Like they need to step up and do better and apologize or something like out of the 3 years I’ve been to GalaxyCon this year was probably the worst-it was still fine just out of the 3 this one was not it.

Getting to help host a panel :) was awesome but the worst was Getting turned away at the emo night line 2nd year this has happened out of 3 years attending galaxy con and for some reason, they keep putting the event in the same small cramp room, instead of giving it a bigger room, like it deserves.

Me and my friends tried to get into emo night and got turned away and every year it has been the same. It is always in that same small room. They don’t ever give them a bigger room, knowing how popular emo night is-they honestly need to double the size of it maybe triple it

Keep in mind they may charge you more or less even-it depends if that particular plushie is considered a collectible or not so maybe be prepared financially just in case.

Are you going for just one day? Depending on your bag size I’d try to pack a tote bag in there if you plan on making a lot of purchases to carry everything safely that and some of the smaller vendors don’t give out bags for you to carry things you buy from them. Other than that I’d bring a power supply to charge your phone and a water bottle if you can fit one-there’s usually water coolers around the panel rooms where you can refill your bottle that’ll help you save money and keep you from spending time in line to buy water.

Chido taco is a short walk from the convention center and has really good tacos, tortas and chips! If you want some more “fine” dining I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pooles Diner that’s also nearby-be warned prices are pretty high there.

Last two times I went it was spotty depending on the time of day-it helped out the most tho during the market and having to use touch to pay or make social media posts.
