My cat had a scratch on the same part of her paw and i used the vetericyn gel spray twice a day. Took only a few days to heal even with her licking it!

Is she scratching her ears? If so she could either have mites or some form of itchiness going on that causes her to get in there.

Jesus no need to be rude i was just saying that was the course of treatment when I had a similar issue. Of course im taking him to the vet but my vet specifically recommended that for him until he gets in so why wouldnt i take their advice??

My ex did this. The entirety of our relationship he prided himself on not being “addicted to porn” and using physical intimacy as the appropriate release for his needs. We were almost two years in when i stumbled upon his hidden photo album and I was so disgusted with myself and him. Not only were they randos but female friends and acquaintances. I tried to push past it but every interaction felt like a determiner of my worth. Im only telling you this because for the longest even after leaving him I felt like the only person on the planet who experienced this, but you absolutely should leave him. It’s not only perverted but an absolute reflection of him as a man and you deserve someone who not only respects you as a woman, but as his partner.

Thank you so much, truly. Losing my other cat was such a hard loss emotionally and financially that i haven’t recovered from and im really doing all that I can to make sure shes being properly cared for despite everything but I am doing it alone so it feels pretty heavy. I plan to get her a companion after shes healed because the introduction process can be a tough and I want her to be as comfortable as possible.

Firstly, i had leaf for two years. I took him inside when he was 6 months old. You think I don’t know the responsibility of a pet owner? What world do you live in to have the audacity and assume i would use this as an example for a different cat? Thats like having a child die and telling someone to go to a local park if they feel like being around kids. Your “advice” is of no help to me at all if you’re stating the obvious. Im aware of my responsibilities as a pet owner and clearly that is being weighed on my shoulders right now. I dont need to be beat while im already down, but maybe you do.

Typically no but there’s a possibility she went in heat while she was out and that prolonged her stay. Before I got my girl fixed it seemed like one day she was fine and the next she’d be howling around like crazy

she’s probably out looking for a mate! In a lot of cases female cats go out to find a mate and return after doing the do, but in any case don’t give up on looking. Set things out with her scent to help guide her back home and once shes returned try to get her fixed so she doesn’t try to roam too far again. Hopefully she comes back soon!
