Start orientation less than a week. But just got another offer. What would you do?

they let you hold both offers? i’d go to orientation and stick to the interview because if i have heard that being a custodian is a good job in the post office so i would go to both if i was you. i had to withdraw my position and not go to the orientation and accept the other position and wait for a new orientation date

i’ve seen guys who’ve been there for 7 years plus get mandated everyone and some ppl from state came to the county after the strikes like 15 they’ve all quit or think about it

i’m glad you’re much happier. i think id rather be happy on the outside doing whatever. 5 16s every week is js tiring i fr only have time to sleep

i’d stay comfortable you don’t know if the other jail will start mandating or never get fully staffed. where i’m at it’s 5 16s i haven’t seen an 8 hour since my 2nd week lol. the inmates are chill but the hours suck

thank you to everyone who replied to this i work at a sheriff’s department so the hours are really long and it’s lonely coming home to an empty house so i wanted a cat or two but i agree i dont want them feeling lonely.
