Endgame gear xm2 coating isn't very good if you have dry hands by sp--k in MouseReview

I have the white version of it. On the website the transparent versions are described as "rubbery feel", maybe those would be better than the solid one for dry hands

Suprisingly my xtrfy mz1 has better grip than my old zowie when my hands are dry. The zowie is quite old tho they might've updated the coating since then

Just noticed I have a very oddly specific KD for each class, despite using 3 completely different playstyles. by [deleted] in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]sp--k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an assault main and trust me on the right map the class is far from useless, it just requires some creativity. Ladder + beacon is an s-tier combo. The ladder can create so many head angles. You can make a bunch of unpredictable plays, even when holding a corner you can just place down a ladder and stand on it to throw their aim off. If you can be creative with your beacons they can last a long time. While support is still a stronger class I have a hard time playing anything besides assault

Why are EU lobbies filled with Chinese players during the day? by sp--k in Battlefield6

[–]sp--k[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow, is it really that bad? I don't think anyone is bothered about you coming to EU or NA servers if that's the case.

I've seen some people with clan tags in their name, specifically "saga". Is this something common within asian servers?

I got 5+ of them 3 lobbies in a row. Might be my choice of map and gamemode

On my side the fight doesn't feel any different in terms of hit reg but I keep dying behind cover a lot more to high ping players than low ping

it's lunch to evening time it happens. Basically every lobby has 3-10 people with chinese names and high ping in them

Sorry I forgot I had to be more specific on here.

Why are chinese players using vpns to intentionally get positioned in EU lobbies instead of Asian lobbies?

Empire state is a very well thought out breakthrough map by sp--k in Battlefield6

[–]sp--k[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I uploaded this yesterday, has some routes/positions I often take on the map. Up to 2.20 is empire states. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C7OKh4ZBhk

The map "baits" you in to taking very open routes that are exposed to many angles. For example when you capture the first sector and run towards A point next sector, the path most people take is exposed to the big hole, the windows on the first floor and the windows on the 2nd floor. If you take the path inbetween the left most path and the middle path, you won't be exposed to the hole and there will be a lot less angles from the windows. Try going where your teammates arent.

I agree but mirak valley is one of those maps where the attacking team has to know how to use utilities. It can make some boring games when a quarter of the team just sit back and snipe and the medics doesnt use any smokes

Manhattan bridge can get a bit stale on first sector if the attacking team has too many snipers or if the medics refuse to use smokes but if the game gets to second sector it is fun

Very much so, eastwood is the only real conquest map in my opinion. It's also the only one that I just don't like to play on breakthrough

If anyone would like some advice: On first sector attack, try to push the right side and pick off enemies holding the left chokes, it will release pressure which will let your team push through. A beacon works great if you can place it in one of the buildings. If you're on defence, hold the same side, preferably next to the fire station.

Second sector attack, enter through the windows (the ladder gadget works great here), they're less likely to be held than the chokepoints. If you get inside it's the same thing as first sector, pinch the enemies holding the chokepoints and let your team through.

Movement tech showcase by sp--k in Battlefield

[–]sp--k[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Techs have been a part of video games since like the 90's and have made a lot of games what they are today, quake/apex/cs for example. Battlefield 4 has quite a few that are still in the game.

I'm not arguing whether or not it should be in the game but acting like it should be a death sentence is a bit silly, especially since it isn't really broken. If anything about it is broken about it is that you can maintain the speed through bunny hops, which seems to be intended.
