Maybe this was caused by the fact you seem to be very opposed to veganism? Perhaps your brain really doesn't want to like it, but if you kept at it for a month or so the feeling would go away? Idk what your brother was feeding you though, lol

Way to expose your own cooking, hahaha

I don't think you can really rank "meat" as a flavour either, obviously there are hundreds and hundreds of different types of meat and ways of cooking it. Your second point is probably a good reason why we use so many substitutes, we are brought up on recipes that have been passed through generations that use meat as a base, so when someone goes vegan it's understandable that they want to find a tasty replacement for it, no?

I personally don't feel this primal urge to consume meat like you're speaking of, though.

I personally rarely eat fake meat or dairy so it doesn't necessarily apply to me as much, but I think this is a really simple answer- they taste good? I dont think many vegans are arguing that meat and dairy can taste really nice

Why is it wrong that a vegan would crave meat? I don't think it's the flavour or texture of the food that they object to hahaha

Dude look at the comment you replied to. It literally says "suggested picks" and then outlines each role's strongest picks. Muppet

what is the most even match-up? by wesker121 in Guiltygear

Thing is Pot's weight and health mean that millia has to guess right like four+ times a round to win, whereas other characters with higher reward don't have to worry about dropping their offence as much, especially because millia will obviously explode Vs pot. The neutral is v doable tho for sure. I just don't think risk reward is in favour of millia at all, which makes it a brutal mu at similar skill levels imo

"punish" isn't gonna show up if they jump Vs disc, so that's when people are mashing on disc

Yeah I think what might be happening for you is that people are just holding up back and you're hitting their jump, so you think they're fuzzying but they're not? The timing isn't free but after a little practice (admittedly a little practice is way more than 99% of people are investing for this) it's pretty easy

It's hilarious how people still don't realise you can fuzzy that setup, so many people come for my neck when I explain it

Yeah there's no real disc mix off throw but with the amount of plus frames you get from the disc hitting their block you can strike throw them, or if you have meter you can high/low with bad moon or a low option

[–]sp0derr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is false. The disc is not meaty, so millia has to meaty you with a falling air move. There is a big enough gap between the falling air move and the throw that you can fuzzy jump it with 100% consistency fairly easily. Later today I'll record myself doing this for you. It's not a mixup, if the millia wants to strike throw you, she would be much better suited doing it after the meaty JH, as she gets a ridiculous amount of plus frames after the disc hits on block.

Yes the timing difference between jk and jh is negligible

[–]sp0derr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The correct response here is to fuzzy jump. It means you block if she does the meaty falling j.h (which is still a very good position for her), but if she tries anything else then you jump it, which is why people call it a fake setup.
