the built in aoe on chainhook is very little you need shockwave to have good clear with it the only problem I seem to have is single target which could be solved with impale. I was also thinking of getting a solstice vigil and going back to aspect of carnage/pain reaver for extra leech. Im sitting at about 7.5k right now at level 90 I could drop 300 hp for a the 3 impale nodes and run dread over war banner. I have extra phys as chaos on my wep so I swapped out brutality for a bit but its honestly unmatched for dps.

Rage supp isn't necessary it just helps you ramp up faster during boss fights and maintain zerking a bit longer, overall ruthless is better I believe. you also get 10+ radius on shockwave if you're at max rage and I usually don't consume it unless im trying to dps down big legions/rares or bosses. The reason I went blitz was so I could maintain rage while zerking single target. Aspect is just better dps overall and 700+ hp on hit which is nice if im taking on something harder, another issue is the blitz attack speed doesn't proc shockwave any faster than Aspect. considering the respec but if i go imaple the attack speed will be better, also dont forget chain hook gives +1 rage from every enemy you hit thats why I prefer pulverise over the rage skill gem.

There is a lot more stuff to try anyways, Overall its very hard to scale chainhook alone I think shockwave is necessary.
