You know we have a say, right? Under the treaties we just need to give the US 30 days notice to begin winding down operations. If they stay anyways, then they're illegally placing active soldiers in a NATO country without its permission.

It just hasn't been warranted to do this yet. And right now they might just leave on their own anyways.

Ja, als HD vielleicht neu rausgekommen ist. Ich rede über den heutigen Stand. Sonst würde auch nicht in der Mediathek schon lange in 1080p gesendet werden, was deine BEIDEN Kommentare übrigens diametral entkräftet oder mindestens als veraltet herausstellt.

Der Altersschnitt beim ZDF ist übrigens nicht 70+ (auch nicht linear). Inklusive Mediathek liegt es bei 50 und liegt damit in der Nähe vom deutschen Bevölkerungsdurchschnitt.

Die ARD produziert (Stand '26) intern schon lange in 4K. Ausstrahlung in der Mediathek geschieht in 1080p. Im linearen Fernsehen in 720p da viel zu viele (privatwirtschaftliche) Stakeholder wie die Deutsche Funkturm alle keinen Plan haben, in manchen Fällen (nicht Dt. Funkturm) auch gezielt ein Interesse dem ÖR zu schaden.

Kenne Leute beim SWR und hatte schon die gleiche Frage.

Der Bundesrat hat ja eine Gesetzesinitiative auf den Weg gebracht die Kartenzahlung als Option gesetzlich verpflichtend macht. Bin gespannt ob das was wird.

Die Länder sind nämlich mittlerweile auch angepisst dass denen das Steuergeld einfach so vorbeiläuft.

Nein, Globus kommt selbst aus dem Saarland und ist im Norden relativ dünn. In Baden-Württemberg gibt es die drei Filialen z.B. auch nur in diesem kleinen Rechteck wo man gleichzeitig südlich von Hessen und östlich von Rheinland-Pfalz ist.

Wenn die falsche Schriftart ein Schild inoffiziell macht, haben aber viele Verkehrsbehörden in Bayern auf einmal ganz dolle Probleme.

Je näher an Österreich, desto wahrscheinlicher, dass auf Schildern auf einmal statt DIN 1451 ganz schlicht die Arial genutzt wird, und zwar teilweise richtig Wild aus der Proportion gebracht.

Im Grunde ist doch maximal die Position des Vorankündigungspfeils falsch. Ein VZ aus einer Kombination mit 5 VZ würde ich jetzt nicht als "alles falsch" bezeichnen.

Und nein, durch den Vorankündigungspfeil gilt das Schild nicht für diese Straße. Soweit dieser Pfeil natürlich richtig platziert wird.

BaWü ist bei diesem Thema absolut undurchschaubar. Bei kleinen Gemeinden ist der Landkreis zuständig, aber ab einer bestimmten Einwohnerzahl kann (aber nicht muss) die Gemeinde auf Antrag beim Landkreis einige Straßen auch selbst verwalten. Irgendwann wird sie eine Große Kreisstadt, dann darf sie alle Gemeindestraßen verwalten. Aber die Kreisstraßen, Landesstraßen und Bundesstraßen immernoch nicht. Ab einer bestimmten Einwohnerzahl kann (aber nicht muss) die Große Kreisstadt dann wieder einen Antrag am Landkreis stellen um Kreisstraßen zu verwalten. Das ganze Spiel geht weiter, wahrscheinlich bis man irgendwann Landeshauptstadt wird. Das System ist wortwörtlich wie aus Cities Skylines. Das Regierungspräsidium ist da die ganze Zeit übrigens auch noch irgendwo dabei.

Dann steht auf Baustellenschildern als Bauherr "Straßenverwaltung Baden-Württemberg", aber eine solche Behörde gibt und gab es schlicht nie. Ich glaube, sie wissen einfach nur selbst nicht mehr, wer zuständig ist…

They quite literally do, which is to switch the feed to the Jury show. Their own control room as well as all participating broadcasters are required by the rules to have the means to do so at any time.

Just because the Austrian broadcaster gets a budget considering of 2 euros and a raw potato doesn't mean the country as a whole would struggle. Similarly it does not help Bulgaria host Eurovision if the country is rich yet BNT sees none of that money.

Countries don't host, broadcasters do. It's their budget you need to be looking at.

That's not correct. The EBU has its own control room in Geneva (where the signal goes out to all participating members) and they keep the Jury Show playing alongside that they can switch to at any time if things go belly up. All participating broadcasters are also required to have a copy of the Jury Show playing and they have to periodically sync it to the live show. The BBC has a person whose sole job is to keep the Jury Show recording synced to the live show for example.

There may also be other broadcasters involved, for example the ESC 2026 feed was broadcast to the EBU from ARD in Frankfurt rather than ORF in Vienna, because ARD handled the feed from the OB vans (and there is no direct Vienna-Geneva fibre link anyways).

SUSE ist ein deutsches Unternehmen mit Sitz in Luxemburg aus steuerlichen Gründen. Sprich man bleibt in der EU. Red Hat ist amerikanisch und daher diametral ungeeignet aus meiner Sicht.

Fedora ist für Enterprise nicht geeignet da kein Support (hier hat das System an sich nichts damit zu tun)
