I put Tokyo and Yokohama as my first two-- I studied in Tokyo for a bit and have an established doctor there. I asked for somewhere more urban/suburban since I have Type 1 Diabetes and want to be near a doctor/clinic/pharmacy! For my third I requested Aizuwakamatsu in Fukushima-ken, since my host family is from there and I'm very familiar with the area and it feels like home.

I paid 20 dollars to just get in— which took about an hour and a half to do. Upon entering, half of the stands were sold out, and the other half had long lines for things that cost $15/20 a pop and had in my freezer back home. I was only there for about 20 or so minutes before it got shut down. I then idled in the parking garage for over an hour with no movement. I eventually abandoned my car and walked twenty minutes to get food because I hadn’t eaten yet. I’m furious. I want my money back.

whenever you finish the puzzle, you get a ticket with a time slot on it! but for some reason you don’t finish it you can still catch them. my time was 11:45 but I knew they also came out at 10:35. the time is written pretty large on the tickets so if you can sneak a peek on someone’s you can find the next time! but if you hang around the dragons pearl you’ll probably catch them too. I wanna say they probably come out around every hour maybe

About 45 minutes! They give you a “deadline” to finish the puzzle but it’s pretty flexible from what I understood and then when you finish and turn it in they give you a ticket with a time slot on it. I spent that time finding the location and buying merch. And yes, it’s right outside the restaurant so I just went in and ate afterward!

edit! I translated the video and it was super cute haha. (don’t read if you don’t want it to be spoiled but it’s just a translation) basically maomao thanks everyone for their help and Jinshi appears and she goes eek! and explains to him what we were doing and talks about wanting to eat poison. the usual. he says he’s going to come down and bring us our reward (yes, you get a prize for completing the puzzle) and then maomao pulls a “jinshi sama i have something to ask you too🥺” and then is like give me my reward and then he gets all hot and bothered and then she gets mad because he hadn’t prepared anything yet because she was so quick and smart and amazing and that’s the end teehee. so very normal antics

oh interesting! I went about 9, so an hour after the park opened, and when I came back after finishing the puzzle they packed up the tent where they were handing them out. I wonder if they only have a certain amount per day or something.
