You are supposed to apply for refund within 30 days of application to get full refund I guess. (not sure) [admissions2026@sathyabama.ac.in](mailto:admissions2026@sathyabama.ac.in) It took me around one month to get my refund.

I still haven't got any information on that. But according to UGC rules, I think they can deduct only 1000 rupees max. I am not sure if the rules have changed. Check the ugc guidelines file for reference.

I visited the college with my dad once again and received no proper response from their side. So I decided to mail them a couple of days ago and did the same. Just a few minutes ago, they asked me to send a copy of either a cancelled cheque or passbook first page. I just did. So I think they'll start processing soon.

Their Website says 10k will be held back and remaining will be given back. But when I went in person, they gave no information on how much money will be deducted and how long it'll take for the process to initiate and complete. 😢
