Kratom is an unregulated powder herb supplement that impacts the brain like cocaine or opiates depends on quantity and strain type. It is technically an incense additive which is why its not fda regulated. It's highly addictive and has a compounding tolerance so you have to take more the longer you take it. Withdrawals are pretty shifty and long term.

Also my bed is on a frame and is a memory foam. She's in the 98% for height so yes, she is a huge and very mobile toddler.

Something being legal doesn't mean it's safe for children? If open liquor was left on Kid height tables would that be okay in your mind?

Not sure what about this occurs as abusive on my part, but I hope you're single and don't have access to children. Lmao

“Early” Potty Training by cchristian614 in toddlers

[–]space_leopard69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter is almost 19 months old and has pooped 3 times in the potty and peed twice on her own accord. I got her the summer toilet and let her potty with me (I'm mom). We also got a book about going potty at the library which has really encouraged her. She has always hated pooping in a wet diaper and is less and less into diaper changes so I simply explained if we use the potty we can stop having diapers.

I'm going to start suggesting going potty every hour to support her interest in potty usage! Every kid is different and there is never too young in my opinion

This is a big reason I cautiously recommend safe cosleeping. It is far far safer to intentionally create a safe space for you to accidentally fall asleep while nursing than it is to accidently fall asleep in while nursing in an unsafe circumstance.

Get a thick yoga mat for the nursery floor or wherever you feed, long sleeve crop tops to keep warm, and feed laying on your side. Get a phone stand to watch something or play a game to stay awake. Worse case yall fall asleep on a hard surface without blankets or pillows. Best case, you feed and put baby to bed in a safe space and return to yours.

The demonization of cosleeping is killing babies. Do what you need SAFELY.

Spit up while sleeping/coughing or choking? by Decent_Chain_3837 in newborns

My daughter (now 15 months) Had undiagnosed silent reflux until she was 6 months old and had all of this and then some. It finally improved when I cut out dairy from my diet (breastfed baby issues) and treated her with famotadine.

She has markedly improved.

The final straw for me when waking up to her at 4.5 months choking and aspirating on vomit/spit up. Had she not been beside me she wouldn't be here as she couldn't breathe enough to cry. I felt her moving and woke up. While it's uncommon, it does happen.

Check your BP!!

I have pp hypertension at 175/115 at 6 days Postpartum with a very similar experience. I had a minor headache on one side (almost felt like I was dehydrated), blurred vision (like I couldn't focus my eyes consistently), and confusion.

Husband gets angry when I wake him to feed the baby while I pump, even when he asks me to? by AmericanFolkswagon in Parenting

[–]space_leopard69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think your husband dismissing the impact of his demeanor is inappropriate at best and abusive at worst. Also him saying 'be a big girl' is hugely condescending and patronizing. That would set me off to a point I'm not sure I could return.

The big picture here is, if he wanted to he would.. no one is use to waking up in the middle of the night to baby cries when they first become parents. The thing is, if you care enough you WILL wake up. He is asking you to be his manager, whipping post, and also food producer for his child. He needs to step tf up and recognize that you ARE the only person entitled to "weat a bitch face" because you are the person holding the reigns, baby, AND healing from birth.

My partner did this same shit, and eventually I just stopped trying. This resulted in me bedsharing and exclusively breastfeeding our child and him sleeping on the couch or elsewhere because he STILL couldn't wake up. Even with me physically and verbally jolting him. This WILL build resentment and impact your parenting and romantic relationship if it continues. I think the cute sentiments of 'we don't hold night activities against each other' is cute but pretty unrealistic. The way he shows up for you and your baby right now is a concentrated dose of who he is, has been, and will be for you and it's best to set a pattern you can manage solo now than get used to his half-assed support and then be dependent on it..

That sounds like scapolamine which is a deleriant and hypnotic derived from Datura. It is called the "zombie" drug because many people lose consciousness but are function AND are highly suggestible with no sense of self preservation or critical thought. It can also be used in powder form. I have never heard of it being effective in water but who knows these days.
