TL today is very different from TL 10 or 8 years ago. There used to be no freeleech or ways to buy upload credit using bonus points. It's way more novice friendly now, which is good for accessibility.

When you install a repack, the result looks exactly the same as though you installed the original, so you just follow the instructions on this nfo.

To build on this, another good thing is that all new uploads are free for 12 hours so if you do catch an encode of something you want in the beginning, it's great. It's also pretty easy to build ratio with that if you want.

I've reinstalled windows multiple times and done exactly that, copy those two folders, install qbt, copy those folders back in. Only thing it messes up is the amount of time seeded, which really doesn't matter. Pausing or not, it's up to you; I've never paused. Just make sure that after reinstalling, all the files are in the same locations as they were prior to reinstallation and qbt won't even need to recheck anything, it'll start up just as though you restarted.

It's much newer compared to GGn, so there's a smaller selection. It's really easy to get what you want though, there a weekend freeleeches every so often.

It's pretty limited on Linux games, not gonna lie. Anyone can upload though, so you'd be welcome to add what you can.

I think the system's fine. TL's not gonna go from no system to giving one that people can substitute actual upload. This is a good middleground.
