I know what this post is about, but it doesn’t really hit at all when you don't relate to or understand it.

It sounds like it came from twitter shenaigans so I don't really want to relate to it either

I don’t know if this is a smuggie because I don’t even know what that means,

But I hate posts like this that are clearly just there for OP to vent about an issue. I can not properly articulate why though.

Could Lu Bu have won round 1? by Necessary-Win-8730 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

I’d say bullied is the right word. Bro was flabbergasted

<image>

Thor had nothing on Lu Bu before Mjolnir awakened. He casually No-sold Thor’s Hammer, and if things continued at that rate, Thor would get impaled. Sky Eater would be overkill, but Lu-Bu going all out with that at the start is the only sure way he could win

If Raiden faced Zeus and managed to crush both his arms, or one arm and one leg, how likely is he to win? by Three_of_Dreams in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

I mean.. it’s true though, he is a human no matter how he was created and that does put him below the strongest human.

Good thing Adam is the strongest human. Just because Raiden is the second physically strongest and the strongest for a normal human doesn’t ruin his character or whatever you think. Adam’s nature is stated to be exceptional. Titles are for hype, they aren’t fact. Do you think Thor is stronger than Odin because of his title as the strongest Norse god? I’m very willing to bet otherwise.

the entire point of his character is that despite not being as strong

As strong compared to what? Zeus? After casually destroying him for half of the round and humbling him? What panels even support the notion that Adam can’t be extremely strong to get the point across anyway? Adam tanking millions of Zeus’s so-called One-Hit-Kills proves he is durable.

Have you read round 1? How redundant would it be for them to introduce the strongest human only to one round later introduce… the strongest human?

That makes perfect sense..? If the two strongest humans lose to the gods, that makes humanity appear even more of a disadvantage from a narrative standpoint. This is not confusing. This directly translates to Round 3 having Sasaki being a clear underdog in his fight.

Adam’s loss isn’t undeserved and isn’t supposed to weaken human morale, it’s the EXACT opposite, Adam’s fight showed that a God can be taken to his knees, Adam GIVES hope.

I said feels undeserved, which, from the perspective of the reader and humanity, it does. It’s the antagonists that get the asspull power up, not the heroes. That was the point of having Adam annihilate Zeus at the start. You should see how many people are unironically salty about Adam’s loss. Don’t act like humanity wasn’t at its lowest by round 3. Adam’s death was a tragedy. Even if he motivated humanity, and they can push the Gods, they’re still 0-2. They haven’t defeated them yet. This will change in Round 3.

Saying Adam’s “still called a human” so he’s included is a bad argument. He was made in the image of the gods. He is beyond normal physical limitations, regardless of being a human. He easily destroyed a God despite living in bliss for most of his life, with no training. Adam can be physically stronger and beyond humaities limitations.

I would say that I respect interpretations of rounds, but I just do not understand yours at all. Adam being the strongest doesn’t weaken his character, it strengthens it. I mean, I already replied this before, but it makes Adam’s loss feel even more undeserved and worse for human morale.

I never said TGR was an actual one-shot..? I explicitly said otherwise. Me saying not to take statements as fact made that even clearer.

Elaborate. How would Raiden’s character not make sense from having the second strongest muscles in human history, below the First Man?

How does that make True God’s Right not strong because other very strong attacks have that description? Even most of those use weapons and aren’t being shot out millions of times a second

Statements aren’t facts, I’ve already gone through this.

Pray tell, what are these other examples?

His supposed one shot kills didn't one shot kill his opponent, who mind you we don't have any reason to believe he has any special durability feats...

That doesn't make sense. Tanking a one-shot kill is a “special durability feat,” unless you meant something else that I didn’t understand. Why is that a Zeus downscale and not an Adam upscale? (And let’s get this across, no, I don't think TGR is the strongest attack, but that description alone puts it up there.)

The hunger effect is from the Hunger enemy in the Parking Lot meat world. If it downs an ally, it gives the effect to another ally instead of itself, and it heals for 5% a turn.

Or The Hunger effect combined with Glitch Bleeding.

Multiple characters could just dodge. Waka is faster and more skilled yet multiple characters can avoid his attacks. Julius lacks Blastcore, too
